Rochester Big & Tall Clothing

I've been shopping at Rochester Big & Tall in Lathrup Village, Michigan for 9 yrs and needless to say, I've spent a lot of money there. For the first time, I ordered a Ralph Lauren suit from the catalog because they do not carry it in stock. The suit came in and I wasn't informed until I called the store 2 weeks after I ordered the suit to find out it was sitting in the store for a week. 8 days after I left it at the store to get the pants and sleeves shortened, I went back and nothing was done. Not a single courtesy call to inform me that it wasnt completed. Then, the Manager told me it was my problem not his. After 20 minutes of trying to convince the manager of his mistake, I had to take the suit to a tailor and paid $40 to get it done on the spot. I took my receipt back to the store to get reimbursed but I still haven't seen the credit. The manager was extremely rude and inconsiderate, even going so far as yelling at me. Then I had them order the same brand & size suit in a navy blue color. I called a week later to find out the status of the suit and I was told by the manager it was on back order. Again, I asked why I wasn't informed-and again I got the same response, short staffed; couldn't call. So I called the catalog department myself immediately, and the suit was drop shipped to the store in a matter of a few days. Once again, no phone call from the store letting me know the suit was received. I had to call the catalog department to get a tracking number to find out it was delivered. When I went to pick the suit, the order was wrong, so they had to ship it back. I called the catalog and they drop shipped the items Next Day Air, but this time to my office. The store's follow-up is horrible and their attitudes are even worse. You're dealing with high end clients, celebrities and sport athletes in that store; the service should be second to none. But sadly, the service is nothing but a joke. Sorry Mr. Levin, your product line is great but, its time you step up your service, namely your management, at your Lathrup Village store because you've just lost a long time customer.

This is one of the best clothing stores for big and tall. I am over 6' 7" tall and have a hard time finding stylish clothes. Each time I have gone in, they have had clothes in my size and in the latest fashion styles. The prices are higher because it is a specialty store, but that comes with being so tall. Come in and see their selection, you wont be disappointed.
