Abbey East Animal Hospital

I don't agree with Ben and Harry. I take my dogs and cats there. I think that Dr. Graye and the rest of the staff are so nice. They always show my pets such compassion. I would not go anywhere else.

I agree completely with Harry B. I took my cat there about a year ago and I kept on getting phone messages from them saying that his vaccines are due. Once I got there they told me they didn't even have their vaccines on record and that "Oh we automatically call you if its been longer than a year". My dog had a problem with his paw. They barely looked at it and were too busy trying to sell me their overpriced heart guard products, flea medication, and pet food. They quoted me $600 for each pet. They made me feel that if I didn't I was a bad parent and they will catch a disease. Now my dog has gotten worse and I wasted $.

We own three dogs, which all go to Abbey East almost every week. They are constantly given medications, and placed on "special" diets, but the dogs health never improves. This vet office used to be great until the brothers retired, and sold their practice. Can anybody else recommend another vet?? Please help.

I just went to Abbey East on 14 mile for my first time. Let me tell you, the dr. I saw (Dr. Cheney) and the whole staff were wonderful! They really do care about your animal and YOU as well. They are one of the best!! I had called in the evening because my cat was extremely sick and didn't think he could wait for the regular appointment that I already had scheduled somewhere else. I didn't have the money for an emergency vet, and Abbey East told me I could come in right away. I am so thankful for them! The pricing isn't any different from my usual vet. The place is very clean. I got a nice welcome kit too when I first walked in which really made me feel like this was a good place and that me and my cat were going to be well cared for. And we were! The dr. was very good and compassionate. I would definitely recommend Abbey East.. I had such a wonderful experience! I will be going back.

The doctors here seem to treat each patient like a number. Some of the doctors take more time than others, but I probably wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my animal here for something major.

If you have cats, the waiting room is usually filled with dogs. My cats aren't good with this, so that was always traumatic for them.

The people there are very nice, but I have found a new place that I feel is more thorough.

Dont let the outside of the place fool you. The vet is kept very clean and the veternarians here are very well trained. They genuinally care about my dogs. I have been going here for many years and wholeheartedly recommend this place to all pet owners.

We had a beautiful mutt for a very long time and Abbey East Animal hospital took good care of him.
When he got very sick at the end, they were very compassionate of the fact that he was not going to make it.
They helped us with as much medication as they could give him to ease the pain. But even though he is in Doggy Heaven, I know if we had another dog, this is the place I would take the dog to.
The veterinarians there are very qualified and excellent care givers.
