Hotel Pontchartrain

This hotel is really nice to go to. I stayed there when I was attending a family reunion and I thought it was quite nice. the rooms was a pretty decent size and the service and food were good. I would recommend this hotel to others who are looking for a nice private getaway.

The hotel is located in a great, convenient place. The service here was good. The room was average-sized, it would have been a little squished if more than the two of us were staying in it. Our room had a great view of the city. There was Internet access in our room as well, which was great. The bar was terrific.

"Once Grand" is the best description I can offer of this downtown Detroit old dame of a hotel. I liked the food in the diner, but I have a feeling that diner was once a much more elegant dining room (I had a club sandwich with fries). My room was comfortable, but everything in it was old. The service was friendly and prompt.

This place is crawling with black mold! If you have asthma or other breathing conditions, bring your inhaler. Unhealthy !!!! Shouldn't there be inspections or something to protect the public?
