Digital Ops is North America's oldest running LAN Center. This place has stood the test of time. Obviously, that means they're doing something right. Digital Ops is a part of a bigger non-profit, called All Hands Active, that aims to give people a place to both play and learn. Digital Ops has custom-built Mythlogic PC gaming stations, as well as consoles, that are consistently updated, and outfitted with the newest games.

Digital Ops is a cool place to get together with friends and play video games. If competitive gaming is more your style, check out their website information on upcoming tournaments! http://www.digitalops.com

Ops is one of those places that makes Ann Arbor what it is. For those who are at all interested in gaming, it's worth checking out.

The best place to play computer and video games. I've been going here since 1999 and it is an amazing place you must see to believe.

Shut down your computer and go there now. You know you want to.

No computers sitting on tables here. The gaming stations can't be described, they must be seen. This is the best LAN center around.

Business Response:

Yes, we have a huge gaming cube with 8 stations set up in it, and many more set up along the walls. We get new people coming down a lot, and the first thing they want to do is walk around and soak up what they are seeing. Thanks for the review Peter!

They have 20 or so computers and consoles downtown Ann Arbor, all networked together with a bunch of video games to play each other in. It's quieter on the weekdays, but the weekends are always packed. (You might have to wait to get a station).

It's also cheaper to play during the week. It's definitely worth checking out, especially if you like destroying your friends in real life, instead of over the internet. They give you a free half hour if you're new, or bring someone who is, just to try it out.

I mostly see World of WarCraft and Counter-Strike being played, but there's often a group playing something else (Halo 2, The Ship, WCIII/DoTA).

Business Response:

As an update to this, league of Legends has become the new DOps main course for serving up some pawnage, but there's still a lot of WoW and Counterstrike goin' on. Thanks for the review!
