Disappointing in every way. Has never been a great place but now it is just totally pointless. Beer is ok, service? Nachos made w/Kraft singles - I was corrected "Stadium Cheese," come on. Try to get a water..

Sad to say - with all the great breweries we have to choose from in the Detroit area - this is not one of them.

Visit someplace that appreciates your business.

Pros: I was in the neighborhood.

Cons: I was in the neighborhood - should have driven further.

We went there on a Friday evening expecting it to be pretty busy, but we walked in and we were the only people dining, and there were about 5 people at the bar. They advertised the soups of the day as Beer Cheese and Clam Chowder but when I ordered the Beer Cheese I was informed that they were out of it. So I got the clam chowder and was disappointed, it was very thin and really lacking in flavor.

For our entree we ordered the fish and chips. At $11 I was expecting a hefty portion. Instead, we got 2 very greasy fried pieces of fish. After asking for a side of ranch dressing for my fries I was informed that they were out of that too and the waitress brought a bottle of Kraft Ranch dressing which had obviously been sitting out too long.

I was a little put off by the fact that I was still charged for my soup even after informing my waitress of the dissatisfaction (and only having 2 bites of it) and when we let her know what we thought of our experience as a whole, she agreed with us, saying that the new owner really didn't know how to run the business and this is why they are slow. In my opinion, employees shouldn't be trash talking their own place of employment to customers like that.

All in all I really wouldn't recommend this. If you are looking for a fun place to go in Detroit, this isn't your place.

Pros: Plenty of seating available, on street parking

Cons: Price, quality of food, lack of customers
