My brother and sister-in-law go to this church and she's snobbier and condescending than all hell. She also works there at the youth center. I've been there maybe a total of 9 times and have gotten a better sense of being a good person more than she ever has. I'm the only person in the whole family who she purposely ignores, rarely ever talking to me or even making eye contact like she's far superior to me. In the beginning before they got married she was nice and used to talk and joke around with me. Then over the years something happened where she flaked out and always acts like she holds contempt against me for I don't know what reason. I honestly don't think this church or any church for that matter can soften her heart and be a decent, respectful person. She can put on a good act though which is why she was able to work in the youth center.

The bottom line I'm trying to make is just going to church alone does not make anyone better than the next guy and unless you actually follow the word of God then you shouldn't consider yourself a Christian. If you can't apply what you've learned from church in your own life then there's no point attending. Snobs will always be snobs.

p.s. Shannon McManus is the most stuck-up person you'll ever meet. No amount of going to church every Sunday morning will eliminate her superiority complex and elitist snobbish ways.
