We found Abbott's on the web and decided to try it because of the high rating. Not knowing much about coins and their values, we felt someone could take advantage of us. We had googled the coins and had an estimate of what we could get on line. The price they gave us was substantially higher. WE SOLD! They were friendly, honest and educational, what more could you ask for from any store. They would be my only choice if I were to need such services in the future. GREAT PLACE

When I was left a coin collection by a relative in Royal Oak, MI, I asked where I should go to sell them. Everybody I asked told me about Abbott's.
I saw that there were other coin stores near them (all over the place!!!) and thought I would try to make sure they treated me fairly (I dont know much about coin collecting), so I took my bag of coins into the green building about two blocks down from Abbott's. What a mistake! They were rude and made me feel uncomfortable. Then they offered me $260.00 for the bag o coins. Not too bad, I thought.

I walked down to Abbott's with my bag and the difference was immediate! When they buzzed me in the door, everybody was laughing and joking around inside. The jewelry section was so lively that I know if I ever get back to Detroit, it is a definite destination! I shopped for jewelry for a little while, then went to the coin area. They took time and explained what the different values the coins had. The bottom line was that they offered me $1,110.00. I took it and they paid in cash!

What a great time!

Finally! Found an honest coin shop. Been looking around for a long time. These guys are honest and consistent on their buy and sell prices on all coins, stamps, and bullion. They buy and sell just about anything having to do with metals and are straight forward. I have been all over the place looking for just such a shop. Those of us who like gold and silver will feel very comfortable in this shop and the area that its in.
