Better food than the Friday's at Utica or Troy... but probably some of the crappiest staff/management and clientele I've ever seen. The hosts are always standing around talking to eachother, the waitstaff is either dirty, crappy, or standing around talking to eachother, the management is rarely seen... and think that because you had a bad experience picking up your tab solves the problem...

...and good god, the clientele is probably the most trashy cheap group of people I've ever seen. Every table around me kept grilling workers about how they want discounts and cheaper food, and everything should be comped off their bill because they didn't like their alfredo.

If you want to really eat, try sterling heights (during the day). But if you watch the kitsch atmosphere of the typical fridays... drive the extra 10 minutes somewhere else.

We have dined at Friday's many times. We always meet friends for cocktails or dinner, yet it's a good place to take the family. It's a very versatile place with a huge menu selection and very tasty food!

I will never go to TGI Fridays again! My mom went there to hold a table for us all to have dinner. She told them she needed a table for 5, with a high chair. They said the wait would be an hour, and that was fine. But when her name was finally called, she reminded them that we needed a high chair. THEN they told her that they don't have high chairs, just booster seats. So she had wasted an entire hour waiting for a table we couldn't use. She left and went to Joe's Crab Shack instead, which is a much better restaurant in my opinion. TGI Fridays is not child friendly at all, and apparently their staff isn't courteous enough to tell you up front that you're wasting your time waiting.

I feel the staff here could have been more pleasant to deal with. The greeters just stood at the front talking to each other, not trying to find tables. The food was good, the service a little on the slow side. It has a nice atmosphere and is a comfortable place if only there was more confidence in the staff.

Message from TGI Fridays

In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, “to meet Pan Am stewardesses.” Suddenly, there was a place with great food, new and exciting drinks and an electric energy. A place where bartenders mixed the environment just as well as they mixed drinks. In short, a place like nowhere else. Today, Fridays in Sterling Heights, MI is still America’s most iconic bar and grill. We embrace and celebrate our heritage as a bar. One that just happens to serve killer food in an environment where it’s always Friday.
