5 Stars: Great service, Great Price (by Tom G.)

I've been using Janet Davis cleaners for years now and I couldn't be happier. They have fantastic service, good hours and they always do a quality job. My favorite part about them is their delivery and pick up services. I can get my suits cleaned with out making the trip to the store after work. What is even better, I recently bought a new house, half an hour farther away from Janet Davis Cleaners - and I'm still in their delivery area.
I get the same great service, same great prices, and same great quality, even though I cant always make it to their location. I really recommend Janet Davis Cleaners

1 Stars: I would rather not clean my clothes than go here (by Adrienne C.)

Well, store front is awfully cute with its vintage sign and colors, however, I was shocked that it cost me $8 to clean an ordinary white button down blouse. When I inquired about the price, they said that there were cheaper cleaners up and down Woodward, but that they provided quality. I bought this argument for the time being, not wanting to opt for inferior quality. However, in the three occasions that I visited, once they cleaned a garment with a danging button I had not noticed until it was returned and did not feel compelled to fix it or warn me about it; another time completely forgot to repair the lace which was coming off a slip hem and then charged me for it, even though after they sent it back out, it ended up taking over two weeks, and they do not even offer protection for cleaning garments with sequins or crystals. Oh, and the employees who work there, must be underpaid, because they are always rude. WHERE IS THE SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUALITY. The only thing keeping Janet Davis in business is their self-proclaimed reputation for quality. I get much better results at the $1.89 Cleaners on Woodward and Nakota. I only wish I could rate at less than one star...

PROS: Not sure there are any
CONS: See above review

4 Stars: Nice dry cleaners (by Tim R.)

I use to use Janet Davis dry cleaners all the time before we moved. They did a great job. I never once had a problem getting my order by the time I needed it. My suits, shirts and ties were always done perfectly. The prices are great as well. I never had one complaint with the service.
