The beef tacos and Spanish rice are horrible! My daughter said the tacos I make at home are better. The cornbead and fish tacos were pretty good. Not a restaurant I would visit often.

This Tios location is where all the kids went to get lunch while in high school. And for good reason. The food is cheap, good, and there's lots of it. Besides high school kids at lunch, you'll find cops and other city hall workers, as well as anyone else working in the area. The restaurant is very tiny; you often have to wait for a seat. Regulars learn to avoid the lunch rush.

Nachos Grande is my favorite meal at Tios. Order one plate and split it between 3 people. Their shakes are also wonderful. You can combine flavors and get a unique, yummy mixture.

That all said, this is not authentic Mexican food. I think it is the owner's own take on Tex Mex. It's not the best food either. But it's an institution.

Free hot sauce tasting on the first Saturday of the month.

Tios in Ann Arbor was the first Tios. And the best in most peoples minds. The food is good, reasonably priced and the staff friendly. It is family owned and operated for the most part which makes the difference I think in getting quality food.

We had the Wet burrito when we there. And it was huge and very tasty. We enjoyed it. Other items on the menu also looked good as they passed our table.

Its to bad this Tios has been sold to the city of Ann Arbor, many people will miss it!

I feel sorry for any co-ed at U of M who thinks this food is good. It's terrible, overpriced, and just downright not worth the trip, or the phone call to get it delivered.

I found the food to be boring, bland, and far too expensive for what I got. That and the girl behind the counter (no waitstaff here) was far from plesant. Her attitude alone almost made me leave before I ordered. Now I wish I had.
