The most enjoyable affordable campground we've ever stayed at. I'm so excited to have found a new home for my rv storage only $25 per night and camping deal I'll go many time this year is only $30 per night and my favorite is stay 4 nights and only pay for 3 that's $90 folks where you gonna get that for super camp ground with a large heated pool and a lake to fish and swim in with jumbo diving plat forms and many toys for the kids to play on they have 2 kids play areas a store with all you needs and fast friendly service along with super clean restrooms and showers. Yes this is an older camp ground that shows it's age and the amenities with the cleanest in group pool has me saying yes and I bring many more and recommend them. Now why would you spend $60 per night at the KOA that would be $240 for the 4 night stay versus $90 here. We're a family with grand kids that like bang for our buck and this very unique family fun place has it all for us. It's only 5 miles to Lambertville which has every national fast food chain restaurant along with a Kroger's and only 50 miles from Detroit, what more could you really ask for,,,Please give them a try you will not be disappointed I tell you. Checkout there website it;s really great too http://www.coveredwagoncamp.com/

The ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE EVER. I don't think anything could be any worse. Why anyone would stay there is beyond me.

I believe that the Covered Wagon Camp Resort was a very nice resort in it's hay-day. But I I believe it has seen it's better days. It shows a water-slide that I bet hasn't been used in at least 5 years. It has a putt-putt course but it is dis-assembled on a holiday weekend. They claim to have paddle boats but their were none to be found but that's OK the pond was very small and yucky. They had banana bikes out for rental but they didn't work. So most of the amenities that they claim to have were either in disrepair or non-existent. The Staff however was very nice and the lot sizes were very nice. But if you are going for the amenities I would say don't.

This is a locally owned, family campground. The staff is pleasant and the grounds are clean. There a lot of things to do here. Swimming is the BEST. The camp store is fully stocked with everything you will need.
