I have dealt with Performance PC several times since 2000 and have had nothing but good experiences. Plus computers i have bought from him have been customized to what i want with no JUNKware added. He also fixed many of the computers at a local manufacturing plant where i worked, and once he fixed them we had no further problems. I am talking about 5+ years in hot, smokey oily air. I would trust No one else with my computers.

My PC would run and just shut off for no reason. It could run for 2 minutes or 5 hours it could quit at any time. I called this guy up he said he could fix it no problem. I gave him the PC and told him to take his time I was waiting on my income tax refund to pay for the repair. He had the PC about a week called me up told me he found the problem and it would cost between $138 to $168 to fix that the cooling fan was not working and that they had to do some reprogramming. I told him to do the work. He told me the PC would be ready in a day or two. When it was done me and my wife went to pick it up (Heres were I did a couple of very stupid things) #1 I did not bother to see the PC run I took his word for it #2 I trusted him so as we talked he wrote up the receipt I did not read what he wrote down witch turns out was no description of any work done at all I just put it on the PC payed him cash and left. the PC did not work for a full minute before it did the same thing so I call him right back he told me to bring it back . I did the next day then they said it was my power supply. So I said that since he misdiagnosised the problem that he should refund the money he charged me . He said No way but he would sale me a power supply for $50 when my wife said that was not fair and he should at the very lest give us the power supply for charging us $170. he said no the best he would do is sale it to us for $35 that he cleaned the PC and that is a lot of work.we left when we got home under close examination I do not believe he did anything and even if he did that is an Extremely expensive PC cleaning The only thing I would recommend about Performance PC is not to do Business with them .

CONSUMER BEWARE!!!! I took my computer to them 12/05/07. They replaced my power supply and told me it would cost $180-$190 and charged me $190.00. OK I fell for it not knowing any better. Recently experienced a problem with my computer and took it back to them. They called me and told me that I needed a new power supply and memory and that it was going to run $179 - $189. I knew my power supply was good, as my computer turned on, it just wouldn't load any programs. I told the rep that my computer turns on I shouldn't need a new power supply, it turns on it just won't load. I just had a new power supply put in a little over a year ago. He began to argue with me and said that his records show it was replaced in 2006, while I clearly told him he was wrong that I was looking at my receipt. He told me that I must be looking at the wrong receipt. (hmmm?) So I had my husband go pick it up and we took it down the street to Internet City. The clerk there ran a system check on my computer and it turned out that I had a bad hard drive and it needed to be replaced. He said the my power supply was just fine and I had plenty of memory and only charged me $80.00 to replace my hard drive and reinstall everything back onto my computer. In the meantime, Performance PC called me back after we picked up the computer and said that he could do the repair for $129.00. We told him no. He called again the next morning stating that her talked to the owner and he could do it for $75.00. Now think about this people....how could the price go from $190 down to $75.00 over night unless they are taking advantage and gouging their customers? Not very good business if you ask me. BUYER BEWARE!
