I have had three of my animals over the last 10 years treated and euthanized . I am more than satisfied with the treatment my life time pets received. I would take any future pets here for any care needed. These people helped myself and my wife thru a trying time each and every time..!! Thank You Alpine..:)

In March of this year we had our elderly cat euthanized. The team at Alpine was very helpful and very compassionate. We are longtime patients, for both cats and dogs, and we knew that they would be kind and that they would make it as painless on us as they could. We have always had very good experiences with the team at Alpine and recommend them for good quality basic care. They are very good at discussing all of your options and recommending other providers if necessary.

I had previously brought my dog there and never had any issues until I brought my cat into have her put down. She was 16yrs old and was old and not doing well so we decided to have her put down. The two ladies that were in the room with us were not very remorseful or very compassionate at all . They took my cat out of HER basket placed her on the cold table wrapped her in a towel gave a shot and then a couple minutes later my cat was gone. They did not even explain the procedure to me or my two young kids who were very upset and were in the room with us.Personally I felt they should have at least explained the procedure to us. Not to mention they took her out of the room so fast without even asking us if we wanted to say goodbye or even at least spent a minute with her. They brought back in a cardboard box and said sorry and walked out of the room! I feel that they should have been a little more sympathetic considering we were putting down a pet we had had for 16 yrs. I mean come on my son was crying very hard who's cat she basically was they could have a least been nicer. So you can use your own judgment in deciding if you want to go there.

Although I did not visit Alpine Vet on a happy basis, they took good care of me and my animal. My mom had a 6 week old kitten that she had only had for a few days. When she walked in the house, the kitten came running under her feet and my mom stepped on the poor kitten. It was very clear that the kitten was dieing. Alpine being only a 10th of a mile from my moms house I ran the kitten up there. They took us in right away and explained just exactly how they were going to put her to sleep. They let me hold her and thankfully she was put down very peacefully. The staff asked me if I wanted to spend time with her, take her home or have them dispose of her little body. They were very helpful to my needs. Although I think the price was a little high, I would have paid anything to put the kitten out of its pain. Very clean and sterile, professional and courteous.

I have took a few of my animals here before. And they are really good. They get you help quick and leave you in charge of the options available for whatever your pets needs are.

service is fast and always friendly. they dont try to force things on you when you dont want that to happen. they have very good prices on shots and their hospitla visit costs are the lowest i have ever seen. cleaniness is a bit lacking but animals go there so its good enough. technology could be better too.
