"Rude, Arrogant Owner" by foody (1 review)
February 27, 2008 - I went to Tullio's with 10 teachers for dinner. Two of the women ordered the same chicken dinner; but they came with totally different sauces. The waitress gave some explanation and the women continued to eat their dinner; after a couple of bites one of the women noticed that her chicken was raw inside. The waitress (who was very sweet) immediately took it away. By this time we had all lost our appetites. When the bills came she was charged for her salad and broccoli even though the sides supposedly came with the meal. The waitress told us it was the owner's policy. We asked if it was the owner's policy to serve raw chicken. We asked to speak to the owner who came strutting out like a peacock. He was rude, arrogant, and obviously had never heard the ex pression that the "customer is always right." I do wonder if he would have treated 10 men in the same mannner. He insisted that because she ate her salad and some broccoli, she should pay $8.00. She refused and ripped up her check. He threatened to call the police. We welcomed the chance to talk to the police but he never followed through on hs threat. He also refused to give us his name (coward). We felt sorry for the waitstaff; if he bullys his customers how does he treat his staff?
