I have bought a Used Volvo XC 90, and I was told by the sales person that it needs minor repair but after couple of month I visited a dealership close to my home I found out that the repair will cost about $1800+. Also I found out that my warranty has been expired which I bought it for $2191, at the time when I bought warranty finance analyst told me it is for 72 month or 100,000 miles. I never was this disappointed in any situation ever in my life. The people at Lasco Ford are not worth; I will not recommend them to even my enemy.

One of their employees told us that they don't inspect their used vehicles even though they are ""Certified Dealer 100 point inspections"". Later he retracted that saying that they will inspect it once you buy the car. Huh!? What is the motivation for them to tell you anything is wrong with the car and/or repair it!? You already paid money for it. Don't waste your time and especially not your money at a dishonest place of business. Read the other reviews before going there.

After about a week, maybe 2 the transmission goes out on me. When I contact them, they tell me the written warranty that I purchased was no good until 60days after I purchased the truck. No where on the warranty does it say that, but to them they're telling me this. A month or so after the truck goes, I get a letter from the warranty company saying it was valid. I call them, and they tell me since I called before the 60 days was up, I was going to have to pay for the transmission out of pocket. As nothing gets done with the sales guy or the mechanic, I get a hold of a manager. Talked to him for about 10 minutes where he tells me to "Calm the f down" and that I need to "shut the f up" and let him speak. Its been 2 months and still no truck, they have it, I've made 2 payments and a substantial down payment, and still no truck. The word of the employees there are worth nothing more than a sale, there is no integrity from the manager Jim on down.

Every question we had in our heads was automatically answered before we could ask them. Awesome! Our sales rep was so friendly and helpful! The best customer care we've ever received! I was looking for a new (pre-owned)car and I was uncertain of exactly what I wanted. The only thing I knew is I needed something with a hatch that got good gas mileage. Ed was SO patient. I test drove 5-7 cars and ended up with the PERFECT car for me! I got a Jeep Compass with VERY low miles, great sound system and a color I love. Overall it was a great experience and I loved that there was no pressure to buy. Ed was more concerned with getting me into a car that fit my needs than pushing me to buy. I highly recommend!!

Eric Kuehlewind was great to work with - very friendly, respectful, and honest which helped when some kinks (not his fault) turned up in the transaction. He got the problems fixed and the car delivered to us very smoothly. It was obvious he had the support of all the needed employees at Lasco Ford. We got an amazing deal on the price of a gently used and well prepared car. When the time comes, we will definately look at the inventory at Lasko even though we are 200 miles away. We are already recommending to our friends that ""Lasco is worth a look!""

First...I had to give a one star rating because this review will not submit unless you give at least one star...\r\n\r\nI purchased a new 2011 vehicle and once I signed the finance paperwork...I was left there standing for 3 hours waiting for the vehicle. When the vehicle was delivered, it was not cleaned up and a used...spilled cup coffee was in the door storage area, glovebox and center console had trash in it, protective film was left on all interior door handles and the headliner had dirt and grime that I could not clean off entirely. I am not sure why I stood there for 3 hours, when they obviously took 5 minutes to detail the car. I had many issues after the sale...trying to get a hitch installed, they lost the second keyfab, did not know where my license plate was. At one point, one of the managers asked me if they made things right for me by giving me a free detail (on a brand new car)...I had to promise that I would give a good evaluation on the Ford dealership reivew that comes in the mail. Essentially (in my opinion) asking me to lie to Ford Motor Company about my experience at the dealership. I wrote three emails to the owner and did not receive a call back for one week. At this point...my car has been in service longer than I have had it in my possesion and Lasco ownership wants to argue with me because I told them I was going to disclose my entire experience with them to Ford Motor Company. Ford Lasco then stated that they were not going to go over and above to make me happy since I was threatening them. So I guess since I did not agree to lie to Ford Motor Company...Lasco will not make sure that I am 100% satisfied.

Mark, Tom and Kieth were very friendly & helpful. Mark was only 15 days on the job but I predict he'll do well. Look out Kieth. My wife enjoyed working with Mark. He went to my husband's job at an agreed time to get everything finalized. All of our questions were answered and every detail that we asked him to take care of was. This was our first time purchasing a vehicle from this dealership but it won't be our last. I have driven a Chevy for the last eight years that I purchased from a Chevy dealership in Flint. I'm glad I made the switch. We are going to refer as many people as possible to this dealership because great service is not given very often in today's society. I must say that obviously your workers are happy because of something you guys are doing right at Lasco and that definitely shines through to the customers. Kudos to Lasco Ford!

Nov 19 2010, I visited Lasco Ford to see a '08 Ford Escape I looked it over and took a test drive, Immediately the front end had a pull and vibration, when I returned to the dealer the first thing i said was The front end has problems, The salesman said if i take care of it are you interested and I said yes. Bought the truck with a warranty. Took it a week later to get service which apparently they ""forgot"" to schedule 3 hours later it had an alignment but the front tires were the same. when asked about was told They're ""within spec"" and nothing on the sales order says they can be replaced.. after waiting an hour and a half and being forgotten..I spoke with the sales manager Jamin who said ""we fixed the problem the tires will wear in and smooth out"" WHAT? ""well my tire guy at belle tire said they'll be fine"" again what? why trying to push the blame on someone else. The tires are actually worn thru the wear bars on one side of the tire I shouldnt have even been allowed to drive on the road with it for a test drive and when the steering wheel VISIBLY shakes the problem wasn't fixed so apparenly fixing part of the problem qualifys as taking care of itin the eyes of Lasco Ford. NOw i get nervous and start looking over paperwork and find out MY FORD EXTENDED warranty is actually a third party warranty NOT thru Ford.So I have no idea what kind of coverage I'll really have. I'm 35 normally I purchase thru private sellers.This was my first and will be my last at a dealer. I thought the days of the LYING, CHEATING car salesman were gone in the ECONOMICS of today apparenly not the only thing missing from LASCO FORD is the checkered sport coat on the salesmen.

Nov 19 2010, I visited Lasco Ford to see a '08 Ford Escape I looked it over and took a test drive, Immediately the front end had a pull and vibration, when I returned to the dealer the first thing i said was The front end has problems, The salesman said if i take care of it are you interested and I said yes. Bought the truck with a warranty. Took it a week later to get service which apparently they ""forgot"" to schedule 3 hours later it had an alignment but the front tires were the same. when asked about was told They're ""within spec"" and nothing on the sales order says they can be replaced.. after waiting an hour and a half and being forgotten..I spoke with the sales manager Jamin who said ""we fixed the problem the tires will wear in and smooth out"" WHAT? ""well my tire guy at belle tire said they'll be fine"" again what? why trying to push the blame on someone else. Stopped in to talk to Dan about a new 2010 F150, wanted to trade in my old 2005 F150 which was in good shape. I knew Dan from his days at Brighton Ford. I like to stick with dealers that work hard with you, and Dan didn't disappoint. After some apprehension on my part, we worked through that and he included a moon roof for under $350 bucks..which is nice. I see a lot of folks having problems on the used side, but the new side seemed to work pretty well. Actually negotiated until 10:00PM, Dan and Keith stayed the whole time until I was ready...had a good experience. It would be good to do your research before hand though to ensure you know what you want. My Dad also bought a truck from Jim, he did a nice job as well.
