(I can't speak for the banquet facilities at all)

I practically grew up in the two ice rinks to which McMorran is home. The maintenance staff does a great job, especially when you take the age of the facility into consideration. The main arena has been home to 3 (I think) separate professional teams: the IHL Flags, the Border Cats, and the Beacons; it will be the home of the "community owned" UHL Flags starting with the 2005 Season.

The concessions are decently priced and tasty, and there are myriad vending machines. The ice surface is a little touchy, being a bit too soft in the main arena, a little too hard in the pavilion rink.

My husband and I had pictures taken in the main rink on our wedding day. (Yes, I skated in my dress) The staff was so helpful!

The auditorium is also a fine facility; we attend their movie nights pretty frequently because where else can you go to the movies for $2 each? Its usually late in a film's run, and there's only one shown, but its comfortable and spacious, with reasonably priced concessions here.
