Average at best. It is one of the few restaurants in Fennville and I would much rather eat at the Subway attached to a gas station. Bland food, mediocre service and lengthy waiting times await you. I have tried them for breakfast (Juevos Ranchero) with eggs that were hard poached even though the menu says sunny side up. Poached so hard there was not one drip of yolk left at all. And the smothered in ranchero sauce left a little to be desired too. Bland and not enough sauce to choke down the hard poached eggs.

I have tried them for lunch (Carne Asada a la Tampiquena) also. My steak was edible. Burnt, but hey, it's beef. Wasn't even seasoned with anything either. Salt, pepper, sauzon, something. It's mexican food, it's supposed to have some flavor.

I've tried them for dinner also. Bland carne asada tacos. Decent frijoles though. Much different than I've tried elsewhere, so I'll give them that.

Now, I know that since this is a family owned restaurant/grocery store/nightclub that I'm assuming that the majority of their business are of the Hispanic nature. But, it irritates me to no end when I go in and ask to place a to go order, whichever older person is working the cashier stand looks at the white guy and immediately calls over the younger girl to take my order because she speaks english.

Yo necesito dos tacos de carne asada con tortillas de maize con solo lechuga y queso blanco y un lado de frijoles.

And the older lady just looks at me like?????

But, there are limited choices in this town, so I eat there about once a month for a change of pace. Don't make a special trip though.

I go about 2-3 times a year. This time was terrible and won't be going back. The waitress wrote down 2 of our orders wrong. We caught one before our dish arrived. When my enchilada arrived - I ordered Tostada Suizas - I did not complain - I thought I would try it first. It was terrible so when the waitress who doesn't understand English came with boxes I told her mine was wrong and I won't be taking it home. She said sorry - I should have mentioned it when the meal came so she wouldn't do anything about it.

My family and I have been going to Su Casa for years (from the time they were located in the back of their grocery store). Their food is superior to ANY Mexican food I have ever tasted outside of Mexico itself! I am a gourmet cook and my most of my family members are "foodies." We have very discerning with our palates and this place is top notch! The tacos are superior (my favorites are the barbacoa and carnitas). My husband favors the Bistek Ranchero, which is like a fajita with tomatoes and peppers with sauted with steak. The avocado burrito is fantastic and is stuffed with three whole avocados! This is a family owned and operated restaurant and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating! Su Casa also has music on the weekends, which makes for a very fun atmosphere!

It had been a while since I had gone to eat at Su Casa, so I took my family out for dinner. The service was good and the complimentary chips and salsa were delicious. There is no other authentic Mexican restaurant in the area like Su Casa. They also have a full bar and the Margaritas are amazing! Try the Golden Margaritas! Our food was great and we had to put the leftovers in a box because we could not finish it! I expected it to be more expensive but we all ate for less than $25.00!! I would recommend Su Casa to anyone who enjoys a good authentic Mexican meal!

Discusting. I had taken my wife there Oh i am a black man and my wife is a white woman) we were served with our foor about 20 minutes after ordering. I thought something was strange when my order came wrapped in foil and hers did`nt. We ordered in...so. When i opened my plate it smelled like raw feces. it was terrible and no one there could or wanted to investigate or even smell it. Hmmmm wonder why? anyhow look further than "WELL IT`S THE ONLY PLACE CLOSE:" and look close and you`ll see that even the real true classy mexicans don`t go there.

I have not eaten at Su Casa's since it was the old restaurant, where you had to walk through a grocery store to the back where the restaurant was. I have been wanting to eat there for a long time with my wife, so we decided to go on a Sunday afternoon. I don't know what happened from the old place to the new "Super Su Casa's" but they have lost their touch. The service was non-existent at best. It was almost like we were invisible. It was that bad. The food was mediocre and bland. And to top it off I could not get my check, I ended up having to go up to the cash register, and wait......and wait.....and wait. On the plus side, you do get "FREE" stale chips and salsa. I would not recommend this place to anybody. What a disappointment.

Never again would we go there! We waited an hour for our food (for real!), then asked for it to go. Eventually they brought a to-go package out and set it down on another table. After 5 minutes we asked if per chance that was ours - oh yes! Well it was too late to eat because the people we were meeting at Crane Orchards had arrived. So we put the food in the car and took it home for supper. When opening the food we found our "chicken" tacos to be something other than chicken. Who knows maybe it was tongue! It was a very dark meat and definately not chicken. The burrito and grilled cheese were tasty but the waiting time was atrocious. We heard them apologize to every person that checked out, so it wasn't just us that they were slow on. The only way I would suggest anyone go is if they had all afternoon to wait for their lunch. And check out your to-go package before leaving.

Su Casa is great! The food is excellent (especially the Burrito Su Casa Aguacate). On weekends they have a roaming mariachi band. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

Unless you don't mind rude/slow service, and average food. At lunch on Friday, August 1rst, there was only one very surly "waitress" in the rather large restaurant. I feel that I should have left after my complementary chips and salsa. I didn't need to wait 45 minutes for the crap food I ordered. Also, I had to serve myself some napkins, and beg for the check (which I paid minus a tip). I will never go back to Su Casa in Fennville. There are much better places between Fennville and Chicago. (try El Rodeo, Nacho Papas, Mark IV) When I told the waitress what I thought of her service/lack thereof, she shrugged.

Authentic Mexican Food. People drive from Chicago to visit this restaurant. New facility and full bar. The food makes you feel like you are in Mexico. Enjoy a margarita with your dinner.

Absolutely the BEST Mexican food in the mid-west.
Located on M-89 between South Haven and Grand Rapids, MI. If you are looking for the best (not the trendiest or the most commercial) Mexican food, go to Su Casa. Created by and for the migrant labor poplulation, this place is the most authentic Mexican food north of Tijuana. GO! Especially if you are on Lake MI btw. Benton harbor and Muskegon.
