Olson Tire is an honest and caring company.

Years ago I had bought tires from another tire place in Mt. Pleasant and a year or so after I bought them, it seemed like the tires were vibrating. I took the car back to the other place 3 times asking to have my tires rotated and explaining the vibrating (and you had to pay for rotations). On the third time, they finally told me, "Oh, your rim is bent, that is why you feel the vibration". I had custom rims that came with my car, and their solution was that I needed to purchase 4 new rims. Then I started going to Olson tire, and they right away suggested a local machine shop that could probably correct the bend in the rim.

I also had a bad caliper on one wheel a while ago that Muffler man (since I was living 3 hours away from Mt. Pleasant) said I had to replace BOTH sides of brake pads, roters AND calipers to correctly fix the problem - quoted at around $900. I thought that was outrageous - called Spencer at Olson's and brought my car all the way to Mt. Pleasant for him to look at, and it was perfectly safe to just replace the one side caliper and brake pad since both brake pads were only about 4 months old - a small fraction of the cost quoted by Muffler man. Again, Olson's got me what I needed for my car to be safe, not insisting I needed more just for them to make a profit.

To me, it is worth it to continue to travel the hour or more that I live away from Mt. Pleasant to have work done by Olson's to be sure I am receiving proper and fairly priced care for my tires and front end.

My car was shaking as I drove, call Olson Tire
Talked to Bill,(great guy) explained the problem, he said
bring it over he would look at it. Dropped my car off and I left.
Less than a half an hour he called back and said I needed new tires.. Mind you it was a SAt. He had to order them, would be there Monday. He returned my car and walked back to his shop...

Monday my car was completed.. very satified...
Bill was great...a busy man.. but still great..

I had a flat tire because of a slow leak and I took it right across the street to Walmart, I waited over an hour just for them to tell me "We cant fix this you need a new tire." which would in turn cost me $95.00. I knew they were trying to rip me off just like they do to every one else.
I then took my car to Olson Tire Service and one of the guys took a look at my tire, spotted a nail right away and said it would be a quick fix, that my tire itself was fine. Only $14 and Fifteen minutes later I had my car back and I was on the road! They are honest and friendly, Ill definately go back for any other car service I need!

I took my car in to get a nail removed from my tire and get it "plugged", or if need be a good used tire. This was after the wal mart tire and lube said that "it is not repairable, you'll need a new tire". I decided to stop in to Olson's and see if i could make an appointment. Not only did they get me in that day, it only took about 10 minutes and they had "no problem" plugging the hole and it was only $14!
