Every time we travel to MI we come to this winery to "re-stock". The tastings are free (for up to 6 types of wine). And thanks to their tastings I now drink more than just sweet white wines. (Though their Blue and White Herons are wonderful!) I would recommend giving them a try if your a wine lover.

St. Julian's is one of the largest wineries in the state of Michigan, and they make some great wines. I "found" them when riding on Amtrak a number of years ago and bought a bottle of their Blue Heron - a white wine that excellent. Then on a trip to MI, we stopped in one of their locations and purchased a bottle of their Cherry wine, and it's become one of our favorites, causing us to make trips frequently back to buy more. California has nothing on these guys. Try a Michigan wine - I think you'll be pleased!
