We have been coming to Everlastings In The Wildwood for quite a few years now. Can't wait for the pig roast and the kick off to our gardening enjoyment. Never do they have a question that they can't answer for you. Always have very unique plants and arrangements. Bend over backwards to make sure all is well before and after the final sale. Looking forward to April 30th. Thank you for a lifetime of enjoyment of our plants and trees.

To the butterfly garden customer I would say something is not right. I don't know what plants you bought at this business, but I don't know how you would know they are dead at this time of year. Regardless though, if you had a bad experience with this business it would have had to have been a misunderstanding of some sort. My wife and I have been going to Everlastings in the Wildwood for quite a few years now. They are always professional regardless if you are spending $5 or $500. They work very hard to keep their prices as low as they can, and I would have to say even I am a bit heart broken in reading your posting. You need to make sure you are talking to the "right" owner before you start throwing damaging insults, and in the end "lies" about someone that I know would never have put any of her customers in this position. My wife and I look forward to going to their spring opening every year, and we were actually disappointed when we didn't see them at the Lansing Home and Garden show this year. Let me be clear to anyone that read this very negative experience; you will not find a person that is more passionate about her business and her customers than Amy. She is an amazing woman, and we spend a lot of money at her business every year. We do it because we like to support businesses that care about their customers and not just how much money they are making. Amy would never have said any of this to you, or anyone else. She is successful because of her commitment to her customers. You would be missing a true "friend" in gardening if you miss out going to Everlastings in the Wild!!

We bought an entire butterfly garden from them last year spending at least $ 500. When we bought these plants they assured us that if there was any problem just bring them back and they would be replaced. We had them professionally planted by an arborist and the feeding and watering was flawless. For the winter they were winter protected. Today we found that two of the shrubs were dead. I just got off the phone with the owner and the story has completely changed. Now he won't cover them at all! He said we planted them wrong and didn't feed & water them properly. We explained about the professional arborist and asked why all the other plants made it. Then he said he didn't expect the plants to survive and that we were told that and signs were posted when we bought them. He stated he never warranted sale plants either. What a bold faced lie! They were all smiles and "no problem" then. Those shrubs even have their tags still on them! If you decide to do business with them be very careful because our experience is that their word is no good! They lost hundreds of dollars business this year alone because I refuse to deal with this dishonesty and I will not buy from them again. I hope they change their practices but I'm done with them. I hope this helps you.

Business Response:

This is in response to the butterfly garden customer since I have no other other way of contacting you. I would like you to know that everytime I see your review of my business it saddens my heart. For 17 years I have told my customers the best form of advertisement is word of mouth and that is what has built my business to what it is today!I have always gone beyond what a customer expects to make them happy and want to return. My goal is for everyone to be successfull in gardening!I'm sorry you did not find success in gardening.I believe you spoke to the wrong person when you called. I noticed that you referred to the owner as he. I, Amy Swanson am the owner of Everlastings I deal with all problems as they arise. I just want to apologize for this miscommunication and would like to resolve it. Please feel free to call me at 989-723-7175.

I had the pleasure of visiting Everlastings on their opening weekend/pig roast. What a beautiful afternoon! The nursery was packed, the food good and Oh! I spent too much money! The 1/2 drive was well worth it, I enjoy browsing through all the plants that you don't see at those darn chain stores! I've told all my friends.

What a pleasure, I shall return soon.

I go to Everlastings In the Wildwood every year. She has some very unique plants. She has a pig roast every year to start things off and that is a lot of fun. The prices are a little higher, but the qualiaty is excellent. Parking is good, except on the grand opening and the pig roast weedend. I would deffinately recommend this garden center.
