This woman has NO business running a store lest of all a childrens boutique. Overall customer service is lacking and the owners demeanor is incredibly sour. Glad to hear they decided to hang it up as I know way to many women who refuse to frequent this business due to poor customer service. Get a clue... there is WAY to much competition out there and customers will refuse to be treated poorly and without respect!!

i have been in this store on a few occasions and i have never had a good experience sales clerk totally ignored me never once offered to help me . sales clerk to busy on cell phone to pay attention and we were shopping on a limited time. this has happened on more the one occasion , try like 4 times. very bad business

I just visited this store last night. Fantastic store with great prices. I was totaly surprised to see a store packed to the rafters with clothes, toys, etc in a downtown area. I can't wait to take my daughter there to buy clothes for my grandson.

It is very frustrating to see posts that are totally inaccurate and do not represent facts correctly. The customer with the Crocs brought in shoes with black asphalt ground into the bottom from wear. She did have a receipt but none of the tags. Next Generation would gladly have given her credit for the shoes if they were able to be resold. However, no other customer would purchase the specified shoes as new. When stores accept these types of returns, the losses must be passed on to other customers in the price of other products and we do not believe that to be fair. The Webkinz report was also totally misrepresented. We would be more that happy to explain the details to any interested person who would like to call us.

Very poor return policy and customer service. I had to return a gift (Crocs) that I know were never worn with the receipt. They insisted they were worn and would not take them. They also only have a 2 week full return policy.

Requested order of Signature Webkinz not normally stocked. Confirmed multiple times that the items were ordered and would be held for me. Offered to pay for items in advance and was told by owner it wasn't needed until I picked the merchandise up. Got the call a few weeks later that my order was in and told them I'd be in the following week (4 days later) to pick them up since I only have transportation certain days of the week. Went in to pick up and pay only to be told they sold half of my order over the weekend. Attempted to talk to the owner and was thrown multiple excuses and lies saying I said I didn't want the order anymore (was ordered in memory of a dear friend i had just lost) and was then informed if I had wanted them held, I should have prepaid... If they wanted prepay, shouldn't have refused my offer to prepay. Very bad business practices and poor customer service. Definitely will not be taking my business back there anymore.

I have been visiting downtown Brighton for years, and one of our favorite destinations is Next Generation. They specialize in children's clothing from newborn to pre-teen, and offer a unique mix of items that you can't find in department stores. I enjoy individual attention, fair prices, and a nice play area for the kids to explore while I shop. The employees are helpful and attentive. There are sales and promotions often to help our family save money, while still getting quality clothing. Great shopping experience!
