occi is the finest Salon & Spa in SE Michigan! When I walked in, it felt like I was in Miami! The atmosphere is breathtaking, the staff is friendly and welcoming. Their Services are what you would expect from a top notch Salon. I had Hilights/Haircut and my hair is perfect! My Stylist told me that education is key for Bocci's staff, and it shows! I also had a pedicure and facial, and my experience was incredible! I could go on, but see for yourself, Bocci Rocks! To to the people that commented on their bad experience, how about giving Bocci the chance to fix your problem instead of bashing it on the internet! You ever heard the saying, one bad meal at a restaurant, doesnt make it a bad restaurant? Seems like you would not be pleased at any Salon! You dont deserve to go to Bocci anyway!

Lets begin by saying I am VERY picky when it comes to Salons. I found Bocci and wondered, where have you been all my life?? When I walked in I thought I was in LA! The Desk staff was very nice (offered me coffee or a bottle of Bocci Water!). The atmosphere was stunning and the energy was exciting! I got a new haircut with highlights and lowlights and it is the best I have had in a long long time! The color is perfect and the cut is incredible! I will be back, I must try out those spa services! Thanks Bocci for everything!!!

I found my stylist at Bocci because I complimented someone on her hairstyle. She recommended me to Laura Allen almost two years ago and I've been smitten ever since! She completely gets my coarse, naturally curly, thick hair. The salon really trains their staff well and keeps up on new techniques and styles. She has always been open to my suggestions and requests, and even changed the way she colored my hair at my request (uses permanent on the roots and semi-permanent everywhere else) even though it makes more work for her.Since finding Laura Allen at Bocci, I've gotten many, many, many compliments on my cut. It makes me feel so good when complete strangers come up to me and ask me where I get my hair done! I will never go anywhere else (unless Laura switches salons...then I'll hunt her down wherever she goes!)

My grandma gets her hair done here and she loves it. Also, this is the only place I will get my eyebrows waxed. Normally I am red for a day or two after when I go anywhere else, but when I leave here the redness is gone within an hour!

I went to Bocci's to get my short (then, very short) hairstyle trimmed up. Boy, did they botch that up! I told the stylist EXACTLY what I was looking for (since the shorter style had grown out so much), I even showed her what I wanted on the little heads they have scattered all over the salon.... Wow... I don't know if it was her first day on the job or what, but boy was my hair a mess. She chopped off WAY too much, never thinned the thick area that needed it, took WAY too long to do the chopping she was doing, and never even washed my hair to begin with.
I was very disappointed at her unprofessionalism, lack of talent, and the over all experience.
As a "new" customer, you expect the staff to treat you nicely, as you would think they would want return business.... but not at Bocci's. Staff was stuck up and rude.
I would NOT recommend this spa to anyone wanting a friendly smile and a nice haircut... they're bett at BoRics!
Pros: Had a gift card, clean, nice bldg.
Cons: bad service, bad haircuts

I completely agree with the review that said that customer service is lacking. Half the time when I arrived, i would need to stand at the front desk while 2 nitwits finished their conversation about how they got so drunk Saturday night and another 3 listened in. Cut to the actual service though, my stylist was wonderful at first, she was attentive and actually did what I had requested with my hair. As time went on, it seemed that she got comfortable with me and would shoot down the requests I would make with "oh you don't want that" or "i can't cut it that way" and would go ahead and do her own thing, so I left with a hairstyle that I never requested. Needless to say, I looked elsewhere and found a stylist that actually does what I request. When I mentioned the "reasons" my old stylist gave for not wanting to do my hair the way I want she looked at me like I was nuts and did it exactly as I had asked. Bocci needs to step it up and stop hiring girls who barely graduate beauty school. Very disappointing Bocci.

Great haircuts 50% of the time. The 50% my hair is cut too short and my instructions are ignored or forgotten. Bangs TOO SHORT...did not ask for George Clooney bangs. After 3 years as a customer I will not return...my patience is gone.
PROS: New, clean, cutting edge energy
CONS: Stylist forgets my instructions...Pixie Bangs instead
