Art Van Furniture

Well, it started out as a special order and then finally 8 weeks later we got our furniture piece by piece and what do you know the couch showed up with pillows that dont match the couch and then 2 days later the back of the couch shatters out.

What a joke of a business, they expect you to sit back and just take the broken furniture because of some crazy internal policy.

I would steer clear and will not ever buy anything form them ever again!

This business is located on Gratiot Avenue, between 14 and 15 Mile Roads. There is plenty of parking, actually it looks like too much is available. The furniture selection is very good. I am quite happy with past purchases, which include a bedroom set and leather sofa with recliners inside it. The salespeople are a little bit "overzealous" in that as soon as you walk in, you are approached by someone. There really isn't any time to browse without being approached. I don't like that. I really like the clearance area of the store, too. I always find something I like at Art Van. If we can, we usually try to pick up our purchases or leave with them. If we can't, though, delivery is very good, too. Just be sure to inspect the product to make sure it is in good condition before they leave. If not happy, you can have the delivery people leave with the product and they will deliver the same product again at another time.
