I've been here before and I have no doubt that this store deserves every recommendation it can get. Great items, affordable.

I love the variety of items they are selling at this store. I'm glad that they have enough staff to handle how items and lines are organized.

Great store! an enormo-gigantic array of foods from around the planet and quite unlike anything else found in our area. Pretty much everything imaginable in the realm of Middle Eastern food, spices and ingredients is here. What I particularly like beside that, is the fact that so many other kinds of foods can be found here such as Indian, Eastern European and more. Their deli counter is another huge treat with a great array of olives, cheeses and prepared foods such as salads, dolma, samosas, falafel and more. Reasonable prices on everything too and often some great buys in their produce department. I drive from Fennville about once a month to stock upon so many things I can't get elsewhere.

This was my first review, and I couldn't pass it up. I'm an avid cook and foodie and a member of an internet cooking forum. When other members came to visit from other states, we all went here, and then to Penzey's.

This was an "accidental" find, and I just love the place. I buy tahini and garbanzos for hummus here, they have better prices than anywhere else I've found. I looked in several places for roasted, shelled and unsalted pistachios. Sure enough, I found them at Mediterranean Island.

The bread is very good, and I've found fresh figs by the case for preserves at a very reasonable price.
It's a wonderful store with helpful employees. Try the falafel from the deli, and the dolmas.

I cook a lot of Middle Eastern type foods and only go to Mediterranean Island for the supplies. They have ground lamb to my specifications on many occasions. They also have a great selection of spices and specialty foods. They have a deli area that has a good selection of olives, cheese and other items. They also have a variety of pita bread, flat bread and specialty candies. I highly recommend them.

Bread. Thats all I can say. They make this bread fresh daily that will blow your socks off. I cannot remember the name of it, but it comes in a plastic bag with three round loaves for $1.49. Pretty good price. It tastes so good; Ive never had a kind of bread like this. They sell lots of other foods there too. Some are sold in bulk plastic bins and sold by the pound. Others have foreign languages on the packaging. I love this store and everything that they sell in it. If you have never visited, you will no doubt be able to find a half a dozen food items that interest you that youve never tried.
