Ann Arbor Cyclery is your best bet for friendly, knowledgeable, quality bicycle service in Ann Arbor. I took my 10 yr old GT Tequesta mountain bike in to replace: a cracked headset, locked front derailleur, stripped cassette, rusty chain, missing spokes, and some cables. :) I took the bike to several other local shops and got quotes exceeding $250. I was immediately impressed with the friendly and open attitude of both employees at the shop. I was sold when the total repair cost was almost half that of 'the other guys'. Of course, the bike rides perfectly now. They were very supportive of DIY solutions. I noticed that they were very kind and helpful to the more inexperienced cyclers also at the shop. Support your local bike shop: support the Ann Arbor Cyclery! 9-10-07
