I have done business with Don's over the years. Tune-ups, repairs, etc. They always do quality work. Early this past summer I bought a used mower "as is". It worked great all season but it broke down late Sept. Brought it back to the shop

Like a lot of people in the area, I've been using Don's for years and have had nothing but good experiences with them. First off, they fix everything including mowers, snowblowers, string trimmers, chainsaws, you name it. It's a friendly, family owned business and they won't take advantage of you. They'll take the equipment out of your car and load it for you, call you with an honest estimate, and their rates are very reasonable. A word to the wise: When it comes to equipment repair, don't wait until the first snowfall or the beginning of spring to bring your equipment in because THAT'S WHAT EVERYONE ELSE DOES. All mower shops get slammed during the busy season and you'll have to wait a while to get it back. Use your head and get your mower tuned in the winter and snowblower in the summer.

Pros: Family owned, cheap prices

Cons: Sometimes have to order a part

I put my lawnmower in for service and two weeks later still nothing. If you phone to find out what's happening, they won't tell you anything regarding the progress and when you can expect to pick up. They don't even seek basic information such as who you are, when you dropped off your mower and make an attempt to be helpful.

Quote, "If your not on the clipboard, then you are machine is not being worked on".

This is the second time I have put something in for repair with them as I thought I would give them another chance as they are a local business and I like to support my local businesses. Unfortunately for them, I'll be looking for somewhere else and I wouldn't recommend them if anyone asks.

Pros: Local, service a wide range of machines

Cons: Slow, poor service
