My essentially new 2012 Ford Escape (less than 7000 miles) would not start this past Friday. I called the dealership and expected arrangements to be made to fix the situation since the car was so new. I was told they were closed for the weekend and they could look at it Monday. They refused to provide me with a rental car, and left me without transportation the entire weekend.

I am 6 months pregnant, and this was terribly inconvenient for me. I was never offered an apology for the defect, and when I presented them with a receipt for the car I had to rent, they again refused to make the situation right.

I am, however, awarding 2 stars because the car was fixed on Monday in a timely manner.

Terrible and the worst ever from sales to service. Purchased a 2010 escape from Tony the salesman which he lied about the transmission update. When I was purchasing the suv my husband heard that there were trans.problems and Tony told us there was a callibration update and it was already done to the vehicle otherwise I would not of purchased the car knowing there were trans problems. After driving my car I thought it was shifting really hard and I contacted service and they said that was a characteristic of the six speed trans. and I told him I still wanted it checked because it was really bad when cold. I took my car on the scheduled date and had to leave my car due to the trans guy never had time to check after having it alll day. Adviser told me sorry he had other cars to do before mine then why did you set me up an appointment for it that day. Found out that salesman lied to me that the callibration update was never done and then I brought my car home and my husband did oil change and checked trans fluid he found out the trans was 1/2 quart low so i take it that they never even checked the fluid levels. So all in all I have been driving my car for 12,000 miles including pulling trailer with a bad trans.due to there error. I think I should be given an extended warranty on the trans due to their mistake. I will never buy another car or recommend Russ Milne to anyone.

At a time when the Big 3 are struggling to sell cars, you would think a well-known dealership like Russ Milne Ford would be bending over backwards to accommodate their customers, however, this was definitely not the case!

After wandering around the dealership for about ten minutes and finding not one salesman to help us, we finally had to ASK for some assistance. Should I really have to beg you to sell me a car!? What kind of salesmanship is that!? Then, when we did receive some help the salesman was extremely rude and seemed as if he could not care less if he sold us a car or not! He also would only show us the most expensive model of the car we wanted, even after we told him numerous times that it was out of our price range. The only positive thing that came of the experience was that he did let us test drive the car, so that was nice and just reassured me that I definitely did want to purchase the car -- only SOMEWHERE ELSE!

We ended up purchasing the car at Dorian Ford and I couldn't be any happier with my experience there! Every person there was extremely kind and made sure numerous times that we were being properly taken care of. Our salesman was great! He was very personable and didn't push us into anything that we didn't want. Do yourself a favor and skip Russ Milne Ford, drive the few miles to Dorian and you won't be disappointed!
