Great Expressions Dental Centers

About a month and a half ago my husband was layed off and we lost our health insurance. I had to have insurance for myself and kids. I had to apply for medicaid. \r
I went to 1 800 Dentist. The only dentist that came up was David Reghi Dental Health Group Michigan. \r
I called to make an appointment and I told them I had medicaid. I was told that there were no appointments open until May 07. I did not make an appointment. I thought about this for about an hour. I decided to call back from my cell and tell them I had Delta Dental and would also pay cash if needed. I was told that I could come in the next morning first appointment. \r
I told them who I was and asked why I could not get in until May, but with my insurance I could get in the next morning. The receptionist told me they were not able to take new patients until May. I told her then I was a new patient. Then she changed her story with another lie. She told me that they were not able to take people with medicaid until May , that it had something to do with Medicaid. Which made no sense. \r
I called another dentist who accepts medicaid and had an appointment for the next day. Dr Kessler in Sterling Hts is super. He even called me himself the night before to tell me he was looking forward to meeting me. So I do NOT reccomend DENTAL HEALTH GROUP DAVID REGHI. He and his office does not seem to care at all about people. \r
I plan on reporting this to the Better Buisness Bureau. How sad that people who are going through a lay off are judged like this and treated horrible.
