Supreme Bakery has been my favorite bakery simply because they are very professional and friendly and always have the freshest quality of baked goods you'll ever find. This is the only place i go to order birthday cakes!

I was at Supreme Bakery today and they are alive and well. Who ever told me they were closed is wrong. They have the same owners and are as friendly as ever. Their bread and baked goods are the best you can find in the city or the state. Thanks Supreme for taking care of your customers and for the best baked goods you can find. Have a safe and happy holiday season.

I was born and raised in Detroit,I worked at a small bakery on Springwell, it was owned by a Yougoslavian family and they made Kiffles,Angel wings etc.Their bread was to die for. They are gone now but every time I go to Detroit I go to Supreme, they also make kiefflies and those light airy pastries called Angel wings,I have never been disappointed,I just wish they were here!! I never get enough.

I was there on Sunday, August 16, 2009. Yes, the bakery is open on Sundays as well as every other day of the week from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm. I bought the marble bread, which was both fresh and delicious, and the walnut coffee cake which was out of this world.

Supreme bakery is one of the best kept Detroit secrets. The cakes, breads, polish baked goods, sandwich cheeses and meats are amazing. I drive 45 miles for my Supreme "fix" and love the seedless rye and braided challah. Time stops as you walk into the old fashioned storefront with its amazing cake and cookie displays. The prices are well below market rate and the service is always cheerful. My inlaws ordered a cake for their 60th wedding anniversary and I can attest that all of the line dancers asked for this address. Supreme is an old fashioned neighborhood center - try it out - you will not be disappointed.

This use to be the bakery to go to , In fact I know many people who ordered wedding cakes from here. I had moved away years ago and then came back. The first place I went was here. It really went down hill. I got a Boston cream pie. I took it home with me . 10 minutes later I cut into it and it looked like a marble cake. It had mold all thru it. I took it back and they ask for my reciept.
They refused to refund my money, They offered me another cake. I told them to cut into it. It was moldy too.
I figured anyone could make a mix up. I went back another time and bought a dozen donuts. They where so hard I couldn`t even bite them,
I do not go here anymore.

PROS: When the cakes aren`t moldy they make delious cake.
CONS: I gave them chance after chance and the cakes were old and stale.
