IHOP does what it does - diner-style food. There are no fancy ingredients, and no fancy preparations. So if you like this style of food, and you know what to expect, then you'll get about what you should expect.

What I think this restaurant does well is that its staff in the morning is exceedingly friendly and attentive. They actually remember people who come in with any frequency, and they greet these people accordingly. I have witnessed many occasions where I could tell that the customer felt special and pleased to be recognized and remembered.

IHOP uses eggs from chickens who lived their lives in cages so small, they cannot even do something as natural as stretch a wing. www.humanesociety dot org/IHOP

They servers suck big time, especially late at night. However, their food is magnificent, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Another thing, it's so affordable. Two people can eat for 20 bucks out the door...that's with tax.
