This very small and quaint Italian restaurant is located 12 Mile and Dequindre. Even though this restaurant is very small and narrow, the staff do their best to seat you in the best spot. The service here is really excellent. The wait staff is very knowledgeable of the menu. The food is top of the line. The prices as well are very easy to handle. My husband and I highly recommend this restaurant.
PROS: Top of the line Italian food and service
CONS: None that I can think of
Not fancy or pretentious, just a friendly little neighborhood (small-chain) Italian restaurant. Way way better than Olive Garden, I hate to say it, but their food is even better than Andiamo. You get the same food, same quality, and same portions as at the pricey places, just for a few bucks less at Salvatore Scallopini's. Great home-style Italian dishes. The house dressing is super garlicky and awesome. Bread is great. Ate there last night and had the Chicken Caccatore, always good! They can create a special order too, just ask. Very friendly, simple, and affordable.
Pros: Chicken caccatore, house dressing, bread
Cons: Not romantic, but simple and family/friends friendly
