I'm a vegetarian, so my review probably won't be helpful to most people hoping to visit this restaurant. I'd been excited to go here, hearing that they had vegetarian options, which Le Dog did not (boo! hiss!). But upon ordering their tofu dog, I was surprised to find it was a long rectangular piece of tofu, not the tofu pups I was used to eating that actually looked like hot dogs. This didn't bother me initially because I'm one of those oddballs that likes tofu quite a bit. So I treated it like a regular veggie dog, put mustard on it, and bit in. Bleah! Was the tofu expired? I don't know; it just tasted incredibly bad. Now I'm not picky; I've eaten some questionable stuff in the past. But this wasn't right. My husband got a tempeh burger that was pretty good. Unfortunately, we probably won't be returning because I'm still cringing about having to pay so much for food I ended up throwing away.

And yeah, this place isn't clean. It's a little hot dog joint, not a palace, so I wasn't expecting much. But yikes, it felt really, really dirty and grungy. I'd hoped for so much better, because I love to patronize restaurants that serve vegetarians. RHL, please consider adding a real veggie dog to your menu!

This is a very small hot dog restaurant right on the U of M campus. They have been here for years. The menu is pretty basic, hot dogs in many different ways, sandwiches, french fries, onion rings and thats about it. They are known for their hot dogs and chili and its really good. A little secret that makes their dogs so good is that they put celery salt on them - its sooo yummy. Parking is usually hard to get. This place is worth checking out

Great little place. there's not much seating but it's on UM campus. So expect a lot of students! It's hard to find a parking aorund here, so unless you are lucky and get a parking on E University, you might have to park far and walk. The food is great though and they have the great fries that comes with the burger and the hot dog. They have many different varieties. Great place but prices are kinda expensive.

This is a nice little eatery on the University of Michigan campus. Parking is tough and there isn't much seating, but the food is fabulous.

Red Hot Lovers focuses on hot dogs and burgers. Their fries are very good too. Prices are average.
