To sum it up in one word, Tamara's Spa is phenomenal! From the massage therapists, to the service and the cleanliness, there is no other spa that will top Tamara's standards. As a receptionist there, I recommend this spa to everyone; I can guarantee you will walk out of there feeling like a brand new person!

I spent a wonderful day at tamara spa. The massage was fantastic. I loved being pampered and everyone was kind and helpful.
Unfortunately, I really hated the pedicure! This was my first pedicure and my last. There was definitely no pampering involved in it.
And unfortunately I now have fungus on my toes, and will be on antibiotics for three months. I am 50 years old and I know this came from the pedicure I had. There is no doubt about it. I would recommend Tamara Spa for everything except the manicure and pedicure, that was awful!

I have been to spas for years, but this one, which is no better than any other, is way overpriced. The whole mani/ped, the manicurist was trying to talk me into more expensive services, so it was not relaxing.

I, like a lot of other women, love going to the spa.. it's one of the best rewards you can give yourself.. I made an appointment for a facial and body treatment for myself and a massage for my husband.. I thought their prices to be a little steep but I know spas are not cheap so I went along with the prices.. the hours of operation are great for working people, which I loved.. we arrived and the spa and the staff was friendly, it was a little smaller then I imagined and a lot of commotion, I am used to going to a spa and being able to hear a pin drop so this took me off guard.. the locker rooms were okay, small and after changing into my robe I was escorted into a waiting room, where my husband and two other women were sitting in their robes, I did not like this.. I am used to men and women being in separate waiting rooms, I find it to be a little uncomfortable.. not that I was uncomfortable with that situation but I can imagine the other women might have been uncomfortable with a man in there, as I would have been if another man was in there.. this really set me off from the experience.. the treatments for both of us were wonderful, the staff did their job and did it wonderfully, it was not rushed.. the rooms were a little cluttered, again not what I was used to in spas.. all in all it was an okay experience.. I don't think I would return to this spa again unless I got a gift certificate from someone..

Seriously? My first experience was not good at all. I was expecting so much more. I just got a manicure so could that be why? It was hard to find the place. A man who worked there was swearing in the doorway while I was entering. I

I have tried laser hair removal many times before, the last place I went to I was very disappointed in the results. The hair grew back and I spent thousands of dollars. I had heard of Tamara's from a good friend of mine, who raved about their laser hair removal. The prices are very affordable. The staff is very friendly always making me feel right at home. It is painless and fast. I am so happy, my hair doesn't grow back. I can't believe how fast I saw results for such an amazing price. I recommend everyone try Tamara's Spa for laser! No more shaving!

I have been to Tamara's a few times, and have not been that impressed. I thought the pedicures were a complete rip-off (I almost had a heart attack when my bill was $80 - don't get the foot masque, apparently)! The aesticians (waxing & facials) and masseuses were very nice and did a good job, but the nail staff and even the front staff were really rude. I think Salon Julianna (Plymouth) and Legato (Farmington) are much better.

This was my third visit to Tamara?s Spa and I must say once again I was amazed. This time I decided to get the ?Private Time? spa package which includes a rain forest water journey, European spa facial, skin consultation and a 55-minute Swedish massage. I got all this and champagne for $165. My massage was amazing. I felt relaxed and revived at the same time. The atmosphere is tranquil and inviting. The spa is beautiful and well decorated. My rain forest water journey was so relaxing. It is actually a private steam with where you can decide/control the refreshing gushes of water coming from different angles. I have never seen anything like it, I felt like I was taken away to the Caribbean or the Amazon forests! My facialist, Ellen was very experienced and gave me a good consultation regarding my skin. Her hands were expert and gentle. I was able to buy the products she recommended right there in the spa boutique. My face was soft and supple after my facial. I really felt pampered and rejuvenated. I would definitely recommend this spa. They go out of their way to please you and they make you feel special.
A little tip I can give, Tamara?s Spa send email specials all the time with some really great discounts. It is a good way to get multiple services for a reasonable price. Hope my review was useful!

Pros: gorgeous decor, great staff, best masseuse, very high-end. Every service is amazing!

Cons: It is recommended that you make an appointment in advance because they are normally booked. You can still get same day appointments with some luck but you should call first.

I had an unforgettable experience at Tamara Spa just a few days ago. My husband bought me and my daughters a package ?Spa Champagne Treat? for Mother?s Day. As soon as we arrived, we felt a very relaxing atmosphere: classical music, extremely neat look, fresh spring flowers and refreshed drinks. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. We had a spa hostess who was taking care of us and making sure that we were running on time for every single service that we had. Operators that we had were very knowledgeable and nice. We started our day of pampering with a unique rain forest water journey which is a very unique aroma steam room with eucalyptus. Then we continued our relaxation with a soothing swedish body massage, european deep cleaning facial and spa manicure. I was pleasantly surprise having a lunch in a private dining room area and to be served by my hostess. Finale was a make up application by a very friendly artist who creates a new summer look for me. Operators at Tamara Spa made us feel very special! One of my daughters is getting married soon, so I will definitely make a bridal spa party for her at Tamara Spa!

Highly recommended!

The spa has a sophisticated atmosphere that's still very relaxing. I went there three years ago because I got a gift certificate for a massage and I've been hooked ever since. The facials are almost as relaxing as the massages - plus my skin looks amazing. They recently remodeled and although it was a bit awkward at times it was worth it because the place looks beautiful. Now they have an amazing private steam room with waterfalls! They even offer unique treatments for the different seasons, like chocolate treatments for valentines day - yummy! A little pricey compared to some places but worth every penny - they do a great job and are really friendly!
