Joe Randazzo's Fruit & Veg Mkt

Randazzo is well known in the Detroit area, especially with chefs. Having worked at a restaurant in the Detroit area in the past, I was sent here plenty of times to get an emergency ration of veggies when we ran out. They are in a very large building, one the size of a small grocery store, and the place is usually packed with people buying things. Everything is very fresh and priced to sell, and they also have a wide assortment of exotic fruits and veggies, things you'd never find inside your local Kroger.

PROS: Low prices, tons of variety.
CONS:

Randazzo's on Outer drive is a uniquely positive store in this area.

They have a nice variety of fresh fruits and veggies. The prices are always very good.

They sometimes need to move out some item and set it out by the case for like $2. Once in the dead of winter, I bought a 20lb box of tasty red, vine grown tomatoes for $2

You are always going to get a good deal at Randazzo's . Every once in a while you get an unexpected super deal.

This market is definitely out of my way but on the handful of occasions that I have visited it, I have enjoyed looking at their selection of exotic fruits. I've always enjoyed discovering fruits not found in your average grocery store and this is definitely a great place to do so.

I like shopping at Randazzos because they have a great selection of fruits and vegetables. They have great prices that always seem to be cheaper than major chain stores. The only complaint that I have with this place is that they never seem to have enough workers there. The lines are always long, which is a sign of good products but it is not good if you only have a one or two items. Other than that its a decent place to shop all year long.

I enjoy shopping at Randazzos for my fresh produce needs. This is the best place to go especially when shopping for a large family and you need to buy in bulk. In comparison with the neighborhood grocery stores their prices beat theirs "Hands Down".

PROS: Adequate parking and you can take you shopping cart directly to your car.
CONS:

A very economic grocery store. A lot of fresh vegetables and fruits. The price is the best around Detroit. A big place. I really like this great grocery store!2

This isn't the cleanest store, by far. However, what they specialize in is fresh fruit and vegetables and they deliver them with the most competitive prices.
