Dr Ivan is the best vet I've ever taken animals too. He's the old school, tell-it-how-it-is kind of guy and I appreciate that more than anything in this day and age of fancy flatscreens and fancy tests with fancy prices. No matter how far away I move, I can rest assured that taking my pets to see him, they're getting the best care.
I have taken my fury family to other locations that are more expensive and fancier but none of them gave the quality service that I get here. Dr. Favret is patient, will explain everything to you and answer questions without making you feel like you are taking up time. He is great with the animals (all of mine are rescues and tend to be skittish, they don't give Dr. Favret trouble).
This place is the best!
We have had a many animals and have always taken them to LaFond's. He is gentle and caring and his assistant always know we are and just asks which pet do we have with us.His office is not fancy, but it has history. You never wait long and it is one pet at a time. He does not rush us out if we have questions and enjoys when our son comes with us and asks him questions. Like I said he is our pets Favorite Doctor!!!
Dr. Favret is a very patient and knowledgeable vet. He is good with both people and animals and doesn't push expensive procedures (a pet peeve of mine with both human and animal doctors). I also, like another reviewer, worry that he might go under from his very reasonable prices (hint - you can raise them, we don't come to you for the cheap prices, they're just a bonus). I've been going to him for years and I highly recommend him. The office isn't snazzy and fancy with TV's to watch and kittens for sale but the vet you'll see is one of the best.

A friend recommended me to this vet and its the best referral I've ever had. Dr Ivan is so nice and good with both people and animals. My Shar-pei was diagnosed with a tumor and he was very upfront about my options and the cost. Its been 2 years and my dog is doing well.
His prices are more than fair. I worry that my fave vet will go out of business with such low costs but while the wait is never long you see alot of people so he must be a fave of the area as well.
