4 Stars: Vacuum Repair and Sales (by Sue E.)

With 2 dogs and 2 kids, I do a lot of vacuuming and was constantly purchasing new vacuums every 6 months when mine broke. My mother sent me here to get the vacuums fixed instead of buying new ones. They have a huge inventory of "refurbished" vacuums that they have repaired available for sale, and gave me a lot of good advice on the type of vacuum to buy. I have had 2 different vacuums fixed there, and one they had told me it wasn't worth fixing, since I could buy the new model for only a few dollars more than the repair on my old one.

PROS: Can save a lot of money repairing or buying furbished
CONS: Usually takes at least a day, and I'm impatient.

4 Stars: Sometimes its cheaper to fix it! (by Mary ann T.)

I have gone through several vacuum cleaners in the 46 years I have been married. With 3 kids and a dog, I did a lot of house cleaning.
ABC Vacuum Shop has saved me hundreds of dollars by repairing my old vacuum. He is very inexpensive and doesnt do needless work on a vacuum. If he feels its not worth fixing, he will say so up front. But usually a new belt or cleaning will get the machine up and running. If you do need to finally toss out the old one, take a look at the ones he has for sale from new to remanufactured.
