WHAT A NIGHTMARE! To start, the staff was confused about what leagues were playing when I wanted to book my daughters B-day party. Recorded phone message stated OPEN BOWL which I confirmed by staff 3 days before party. When I talked to staff day before party to ensure I get 3-4 lanes together - I'm told "lg leagues playing therefore NO OPEN BOWLING" and got hung up on. (THIS IS WHERE I SHOULD HAVE FOUND ANOTHER EVENT OR VENUE! ) However I called 15 min later to c is if we can bowl earlier and avoid the leagues; another staff tells me "No, No, only small league & plenty of lanes OPEN". Got there at specified time & PLENTY of lanes were open. THEN once in the door, THEY ASK me if I am NOW bringing in a cake or any food and THEN TELL ME I CAN'T, "its posted all over". But I say "I was calling on phone, one can't see your signs over the phone, WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THEN?" I'm told if I'd booked "party" then I'd have signed waiver & I could bring cake in, but they won't let me sign waiver now and guests are arriving. Why didn't they offer information when I first called, when I called to tell them I'm interested to hold party there? So easy to say "Oh party - do you realize we don't allow food to come in? We do offer a limited menu if you need?" Instead I'm given contradicting & very sparse information. There was NO concern or positive effort from staff over the confusion. It IS NOW APPARENT we were NOT considered 'worthy customers' to any special or even polite treatment.

One older guest almost fell backwards because the inside hand railing was detached from the floor at one end; there was gum in the ball holes; the fountain soda was either flat or watered down and we ended up MOVING the food, gifts and cake to another location! WOW, we won't be returning any time soon! Needless to say, our guests we're equally UNIMPRESSED with Summit.

We have a yearly family bowling outting. I was throughly impressed with Summit. They have great bowling alley food, clean bathrooms and although we were there early, the builing smelled realtively smoke free. A nice clean place to takt the family out to bowl!

I bowl in a league here in and although there have been great aesthetic changes including remodled bathrooms and bar with great TV's, the bowling alley itself still needs to be improved. The lanes are inconsistent. The service is good, but the bottled beer definitely needs to be kept colder. Even after complaining a lot, week after week, the beer is not cold enough. There is karaoke some nights and live bands. Overall, it is not a bad place to hang out..
