.

Jennifer, the owner, is a very talkative and friendly woman. In fact, she's amazing.

I'm a 20 year old male, and I've always had a hard time getting a really satisfying haircut--my hair is thick and coarse, grows quickly, and I like it to look clean cut and short.

Not only is she creative in offering some suggestions, but she's a good listener--"What do you want it to look like? We could do something like this if you want...Or is this more what you're looking for?"

Her haircuts (guys) are 15$ (that includes a modest tip) and in emergencies, I've been able to walk in and get a quick touch up (a week or two after a hair cut) around my ears, sideburns, and neck for only a few dollars.

The wait is never terrible, and while her location (ABOVE THE TCF BANK ON THE CORNER OF SOUTH U. AND CHURCH ST.) is a bit out of everyday attention, this is the best place I've ever been to. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do when I go home (last summer I went twice as long as I usually do because I didn't want to get it cut at one of the shops near my house in Western Michigan).

GO. You'll never go anywhere else.
