4 Stars: Get lost in a sea of used books (by L K.)

My favorite used book store in town. That great musty book smell and miles of books packed on shelves in specific categories. Not everything is easy to find, but no used book store is perfect. People here are nice and not intimidating. One visit and you'll never pay full price again.

4 Stars: One of Ann Arbor's better bookstores (by Lisa S.)

Dawn Treader always has a fantastic assortment of used books in good shape. Their prices on used books are actually low, unlike a lot of used bookstores that sell used books at like new prices!
Their selection of Michigan related books is great (the state of, not just university of), so out-of-town relatives or friends might enjoy stopping in to look at books about the Great Lakes, or the Auto Industry.
I've found more than a few real gems here, like old science textbooks, an early 1900s guide to be being a good wife, to good old American propaganda from the McCarthy era.
The selection of more recent books is always quite good - it's right by Border's so stop in here before you stop in Border's to see if you can find what you're looking for at a much lower price.
Highly recommended!

4 Stars: You never know what you'll find (by Leslie L.)

I've been told that Ann Arbor has the highest per capita number of bookstores, selling both new and used. Dawn Treader is one place where you can still buy a used book at used book prices. They always have a few racks of 50 cent books sitting right outside the store, too. It's located right next to Borders, so check here first before you buy it new!

4 Stars: Dawn Treader (by L N.)

What selection! I discovered Dawn Treader about 15 years ago when I lived in Ann Arbor and fell in love. This bookstore features tons of used books in great shape and at good prices. I can always find a book that interests me at Dawn Treader, always.
