One of the worst gyms I have ever been to. Incredibly rude members. An apathetic staff. It is a shame really. The facility itself is huge and full of potential. Even though there is an incredible amount of equipment here, the place is always crowded, weights are never returned to the racks, equipment is routinely broken or under-repair, and rarely do members wipe down equipment after use (perhaps because anti-septic wipe containers are always empty or broken).

The worst element of the gym is the young, arrogant, disrespectful teens. They have no regard for anyone else but themselves. They throw weights, crowd workout space, poke fun at other members, leave garbage and towels for others to clean up. In the 20 months I have been a member here, I have never seen a staff member try to correct the behavior. They will paint a picture for you on your tour of great fitness classes (which they do have), never have to wait for a machine (which is a bold face lie), a courteous staff (it's hard to be rude when they are absent), and a clean facility (highly debatable, I've gotten more than a handful of serious sicknesses from this place).

I received a two-year membership as a graduation gift. You can be sure as sunshine when my membership is up, pending a complete clearing of house management and staff, and an improved membership training of gym etiquette, I will GLADLY be going somewhere else. In fact, I visit other gyms and take tours just to get pumped up about leaving this place.

To share a story of a typical day at this gym, I am greeted by a desk clerk. If you have forgotten your card (even though they possess a photo of you, a copy of your driver license, and have your money), forget about getting in. Go home and get your card. 45 mins later, I return and am greeted with "Now that wasn't that difficult, was it? It's just our Policy". Walk back to the locker room, towels are everywhere. The floor, the benches, and on the sinks. The floor is soaking wet. Kids/teens (12-18 yrs old) are running through the locker room, shouting and giving me stare downs if I look in their direction for more than a second. Open my first locker, there is garbage (old hangers and a used towel). Open my second locker, get dressed for my workout. The key won't leave the lock. Move all my stuff to a new locker. Meantime, young teenagers scream about some basketball game and how terrible the other team was. They walk behind me and in front me constantly while I change (they never once say excuse me or acknowledge my efforts to make space for them. This is VERY typical.). Head upstairs, bumped into by young kids running by. All of the benches appear to be in use as indicated by the ten or so towels lying around. 25% of the free weights are off the racks. Sit down on a bench with no towel; leave my towel and gloves on the bench. I grab a few weights and proceed to use them. 5 minutes in to my workout, a teenager informs me that he was using the bench I am on. I move to the bench to the side (freshly vacant and member left without wiping it down). I move over and apologize that I didn't notice him using this bench while he was using the fly machine 50 ft away. I grab a new set of weights after returning mine. Before I can get one set in, I am asked three times if I am done with the dumbells I have chosen. I told the considerate teenager "No, I am using the dumbells that I am holding". Finish my lifting portion of my workout, having moved benches twice, frightened by the sound of dropped weights CONSTANTLY and fended teens off my weights CONSTANTLY (a workout in itself as I try to contain my growing frustration). Upon leaving the free weight area, 50% of the free weights are scattered throughout the facility with no plans of them returning. Go to finish my workout with a run, no treadmills available. Wait ten minutes, no treadmills available. Return to dressing room, more towels everywhere. A handful of teenagers are dribbling a basketball in the locker room talking loudly about literally nothing. I change and wash my hands. As I am leaving, my bag accidentally bumps into the teen dribbling the ball. He stares me down as I apologize. I half expect him to follow me out to the parking lot. He only follows me out to the cafe before turning around and heading back to the locker room. Oh, there is a cafe in this place. You can get a salad there for $10. Or a protein shake for $6. Arrive at my car, relieved no one has broken into it (they had a problem of car break-ins there for a bit. LOCK YOUR DOORS and hide your valuables. Seriously.) Leaving the lot, I am frustrated and unsatisfied with my workout.

Overall, this gym is full of arrogant, punk kids and "look at me" douche bags. Every mention of the problem to staff and management gets met with a "stop complaining and just take it" response.

Go somewhere else. You WILL REGRET becoming a member here. They just want your money.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

This place is beautiful. The hours and amenities are outstanding. The employees are very friendly and helpful. There is so much to do there. This location is the best one that I have been to. The outdoor pool area is amazing! The child care center is more than I expected it to be- I couldnt believe it when I saw it. My daughter loves it there. She loves the girls who work in there and she has made many friends in there. I cant get her to come out! I think the people who work in there do a wonderful job. My daugher comes out with paintings, crafts or coloring sheets. Sometimes it is very busy, but that must say something for the quality of the center.

I love this gym but really do not care for their childcare. I think they allow way too many children and not enough staff to acommodate all the children. They need to have more structured activities for the children rather than just letting them all run around. If they did this, I think they would have a better time and so would the kids. Rather, the staff are constantly comforting kids who are crying since they are bored and scare. I no longer take my kids there because of this.

PROS: great facility, great hours
CONS: poor childcare

They have great hours (24) and a little bit of everything. I don't like the hours of family swim/outdoor swimming pool. And I don't like how crowded it is, especially with young teenagers. I do like the convienience though.
