When I got my new job a few years ago, I had to find a new doctor that fit with the insurance. As luck would have it, I hurt my arm shortly after changing insurance and needed to see a doctor right away. I choose this Oakwood location because it is close by, in a very convenient location by Krogers, and seemed ideal. The second reason I choose this is because they had a female doctor. I'd rather have a female PCP than a male. Although I like my Doctor (Dr Francu), I have had a few problems with this location. I don't like that when I call to make an appointment, I find myself talking to a general healthcare number and not the office itself. The appointments are always made fine, but I just find it weird not to be speaking directly with the office. This location also has children's doctors which means while I am waiting, I am sitting around watching kids run wild. That can get a little frustrating after a long day of work. Speaking of waiting, I seem to have to wait about 30 minutes past my appointment time every time. My doctor must be popular! I will continue to go to this doctor because it's not often I find a doctor I like. Appointment making isn't bad once you get used to the fact that you aren't talking directly to the office, and if you schedule your appointments earlier you won't have to wait as long. It's not a bad choice if you're looking for a female PCP, and you may be able to find your kid's doctor there too!

PROS: Close by, good location, makes me feel comfortable
CONS: Kids, waiting sometimes, appointment making takes a little adjusting

My kids see Dr. Monblonco at this Oakwood facility. It is very hard to get an appointment and when you do go in, you wait forever to be called. Then again you wait forever for the docter to come into the room. The nurses are wonderful, very friendly and full of information. The front desk is more about pushing you out quickely with no personality. It is conviently located which is why I put up with the slowness.
