Kingmas

I love Kingma's! The wines, beer ,cheese and coffee are great. They have fresh organic milk and cream and carry La Brae (not sure of the spelling) breads. Lot's of specialty items and wonderful meats! My only complaint is a couple female cashiers (both blonde) never smile or say thank you. Even when I say thank you ,they don't even say you're welcome?

Thanks Rip....the butcher shop is a separate business from the produce shop. Thanks for clarifying. I must agree, the meat is the best, and the guys behind the counter are #1.

Kingma's Market and Butcher Shoppe are two seperate buisnesses!!! The butcher is Dave who came up from Wakas Meats the store is owned by the Kingma boys (cousins not brothers) Dave rents space from the Kingma's. Quit calling it the same thing it is driving us nuts!!!

Kingma's is a great neighborhood market. We love to go there for the cheese and wine selection. They have a nice group of Michigan wines that are not available elsewhere in Grand Rapids. The meat counter and the bulk selection have always been very fresh and high quality. They people are friendly and helpful. We love it!

With the addition of a very extensive beer and wine selection--at reasonably competitive prices--Kingma's is better than ever! They even have a good selection of Michigan wines, and are willing to stock customer's requests, when they can.

The finest meats, produce and flowers you can find in a smaller store with "big store" selection! The staff is usually very friendly and helps to ensure you walk away with exactly what you were looking for. Their meats are truly the centerpiece of their market & offer the highest quality at reasonable prices.

Kingma's is a great place to get fresh meat and fresh vegetables. I have not had one bad piece of meat from there, I have been very satified. their vegetables are fresh. they have beautiful flowers in the summmer and also great Christmas tree and fresh wreathes for Christmas. Their prices are decent.

Kingmas Market is a great local place to pick up fresh meat, veggies or fruit. They have their own butcher shop so their meat is very good quality. They also have a wide variety of cheese and olives. It is in a convenient location good for picking up a quick something for dinner or a party. Depending on the season, they also have flowers, pumpkins and mulch. Overall, you can get a smile and good deal at Kingmas.

PROS: Location, Fresh Meat
CONS: Can get pricey

Kingma's has a great selection of flowers and plants. Their staff is always friendly and helpful. They carry a lot of plants that are not carried by chain stores, and their prices are fair. I compare them closely to a Horrock's market, but their staff is a lot more down-to earth. They also have a great selection of unique food products.

Kingma's is a place I try not to visit - because I always find something there unique that I have to have!
