Troy Lanes

My husband has been bowling at this alley for many years, since it used to be called Emerald Lanes.

The lanes were redone a few years ago, giving the place a more modern look.

Unfortunately, the men's league is always complaining about the lanes. On his last bowling night, the alley had to move his team three times because of problems with the lanes. On one, the balls were getting stuck in the ball return and one ball was damaged.

On other lane, one of the boards was loose and when somebody stepped on it, it moved and made them slip.

The third time was a problem with the automatic scorekeeper.

My husband has complained about these lanes since before they were redone, and he hasn't felt they were any better since the remodel.

The place is very clean and nice looking,however, and is a good place for kids to do bumper bowling or other fun bowling.

PROS: Clean, nice looking
CONS: Trouble with lanes often

They have the best lanes i have seen around here, new and updated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I use to bowling on saturday nights glow bowl. The crowd was always pleasant. The prices are a little bit higher except it is worth it.

My husband and I have subbed on a bowling league at Troy Lanes a few times. Each time has been pleasant. The restrooms could use a better cleaning. The people are friendly and the lanes are great. For some reason it seems that I get my highest bowling scores at this bowling alley.

They offer bummer bowling which is great as then the kids dont get gutter ball after gutter ball and it keeps the ball going so they hit pins. The staff is friendly and the ally is clean.

This was a clean operation with friendly staff at the desk and at the snack bar. The rental shoes looked new, bumpers were offered. The lanes functioned well as did the automatic scoring.
