She didn't start making it till you got there? Sounds like the freshest darn thai in my book, I have eaten there for years and have always had great food there. If you only eat thai food out of a box I dont think you should be judging.

The Royal Thai Cafe offers the best Thai food in the Birmingham/ Royal Oak area. I highly recommend the Drunken Noodles and the Pad See Ew. Even the mild is a little spicy so be careful when you order if you don't like your food too hot. We will even order "no spice" for our kids. Generous portions and reasonable prices. They do close a little early so be sure to call first. They do offer carryout.

The Royal Thai Cafe is best known for it's great thai food. every meal has offers serval types of veggies, beef, shrimp and chicken. when chosing your meal your allowed to chose how spicey your meal will be prepared. Mild, meduim or hot. I always tend to order beef pad pak mild for myself and Cashew chicken meduim for my husband. When ordering lunch/dinner we always ask for extra baskets of their free shrimp chips. We have never been disappointed with our visits to The Royal Thai Cafe and shall contunie to eat there for years to come.
