I was referred to the Animal Clinic by my regular veterinarian to do an ultrasound on my dog who, it turns out, has an aggressive cancer. The front desk staff were very courteous and helpful, and Dr. Griffin was very kind and compassionate. I would have no problem going there again or recommending others to do so.

I was a client of 15 years. In the last three the help in the office has really gone downhill! They made my dog wait a week and a half to see the doctor and he was going blind wit lymphoma. By the time the appointment came he was blind. Unforgiveable!!! There is no compassion for the animals any more!!!! Such a shame!!!!

Hi everyone!
I have 2 dogs and my older dog pulled his patella out playing in the backyard with my other dog! We took his to the Romeo
E/R because he was in slot of pain! Dr. John K is great he
did e-Ray and told us it was his patella so he prescribed some meds and said if in one week he is not better we should consider surgery b/c is 90 percent succesfull as long as you fallow the past surgery instructions. So after a week we went and made an app. For the surgery with dr. Wilson.
He did the surgery and is been 1 month and a half and what a difference that made! Dr. willson is the best around!!! I m so happy that dr. Wilson got my dog back on his four feet! He is a great dr. Does not smile a whole lot when you meet him but he does care about your pet. He brought my smile back seen my little friend back to normal. I wish the front desk in sterling Hts location was a little nicer but I do understand they have slot of work to do and I think they should start appreciating costumers a little more because the doctors are all very good and sometimes most people will leave a great vet. Like dr. Wilson b/c of the staff attitude when you call or when you ask a question! Keep up the good work dr. Wilson!!! Dr. Rebecca is
also great all the time! I love her energy and wish she was there at the sterling Hts locations everyday!!!

We were introduced to this vet when we adopted a rescued dog. The rescue group had all her work done at this vet, and we like them so much, we switched from our vet and had them see our other two dogs as well. Their prices are very reasonable and their hours actually accomodate a working person's schedule! Imagine that! We even had an emergency situation come up on a Sunday and they saw us right away with no "on call" extra charges.

I have 2 small dogs who are often patients of the clinic and even though the prices are great the front staff is often rude. I used to take my pets to Serenity Animal Hospital but because of price we switched, I LOOKING INTO SWITCHING BACK. I love the Doctors but when I have to call to ask a question about pick up time or price it seems that I??m bothering the front staff or that they have better things to do, so perhaps they don??t need by business or my money.

Worst experience in dealing with a vet in over 25 years. The staff and doctors were very friendly and did seem to care about the well being of the animals, at first. My 18 year old cat was taken in for a check up as well as to get her nails trimmed. She had not been to a vet in several years and the nails were actually growing into the pads of her feet a little bit. When the tech brought her back into the room with "bloody" feet I was very disturbed. This was more than just a "little" blood. There should be an initial evaluation and maybe have a more experienced tech do the harder work. I brought my cat back in the next week for some additional tests and had a conversation with the doctor about the medication. I could not have been more clear, "DO NOT PRESCRIBE CAPSULES - I NEED LIQUID". Because they use an outside service for the medication that my cat was prescribed, guess what showed up on my door step - CAPSULES. You would not believe the back-peddling and passing-of-the-buck that followed. The doctor that prescribed the meds is only in on this day, another doctor made an assumption based off of the chart, an office worker approved the chart but was not the one who called it in, etc. The staff at the vet told me it did not come in liquid form. I called the outside med service and they said they had 6 different flavors of the meds in liquid form that I needed, but that the vet called it in as capsules. The vet made me incur the cost of the wrong medication they called in for me. I have never done business with any company for any reason when the company ordered something incorrect and made me pay for it. Not only is this bad business, it disturbs me that rather than see an 18 year old cat get better, this place was only concerned with money, at the expense of the health and well-being of my cat. They have pretty low pricing, and now I know why. Please avoid this vet if you care about the quality of the treatment that your pet receives.

I think Dr. Wilson is great. If you want a great Dr. sometimes you do have to wait. he is a bulldog specialist so people come from all over and you may have to wait to see him. but it is well worth it. he is like the dog whisperer. Love him.

We transferred to this vet after we moved so it would be closer to our home. I find them to be EXTREMELY disorganized. We had our records faxed from our previous vet a few days before I had a scheduled check up for my cat. I called the day before to confirm they had received them. On the day of our appointment NO ONE could find our paperwork. During my cat's appointment (in June) the doctor didn't even recommend a flea/tick medication. My husband filled out a survey printed out by the clinic checking off for information on boarding, training, etc -- it is now late August and no one has contacted us with information. We also have a dog and knew a rabies shot was due sometime in August. We are used to receiving a reminder notice from the vet to schedule shot appointments. They had filed the original faxed paperwork without noting when our dog's next round of shots were due. No reminder was sent -- we had to call THEM to check on when shots were due (they were OVERDUE as it turned out). Although their location is extremely convenient, I would rather be inconvenienced by a longer drive to an office where I feel confident my pet's best interest is at heart.

New puppy owner and I was walking him trying to figure out where to take him for shots. The vets in my area have very bad reps and are very expensive. One of my neighbors drives out to this vet because they have a great price and are very friendly. Totally worth the drive for me too! So I went to see and not only are they all very nice and easy to work with but the doctors are too! Plus the office is very clean. My whole family is switching vets. He had all his shots as well as getting fixed here.

Dr. Wilson came highly recommended but the staff was very rude and uneducated. I arrived for my appointment on two seperate occassions and both times they didn't have me in the books. I drove over an hour and even called to confirm the appointment but no one knew about it when I got there.

I got 2 different sets of post-surgery instructions and I consistantly felt as though the staff was annoyed when i asked questions. Even the office manager just kept saying "I cant help you thats not my job" I wonder what her job is? I had to look for answers to my questions online when I got home.

My dog still needs one more surgery and dispite the Drs prices and reputation, Im going to look for another facility that is friendly, professional and willing to treat their patients with respect and kindness.

This office was referred to us by Wilson Veternary Hospital in Romeo. We stop in often for our cat's perscription diet food, and they are always accommodating, personable and friendly. Not too mention, their prices really are reasonable. =)

This is a great vet! I heard that they were good with Bulldogs, which I've found to be very true. I liked them so much that I will be switching all of my animals over to this Vet (cats and all)! Plus, they are less expensive than other vets in the area...

We have taken all 3 of our dogs here. They are very accomidating to peoples schedules. You can tell the people that work their love their job and the animals. And they are very reasonably priced.

Dr. Wilson and his clinics were recommended for my dog's orthopedic surgery. I live in Detroit so I opted for the closest clinic, being the Sterling Heights Animal Clinic. For the surgery consult appointment, I waited one hour after my scheduled appointment time in the waiting room, then I waited 15 minutes in a small exam room. The Dr. was professional, but not apologetic for the wait time.

The day of my dog's surgery her check in went smoothly and I was notified at 5PM to pick her up at 8PM that night. Again, I waited in the waiting room for 45 minutes, then I was taken to get post surgical instructions, and then I paid--I waited another 10-15 minutes after I paid. They brought my dog out and she looked like she had been hit by a car! Her incision was bleeding and she was extremely groggy from the surgery. After an hour of waiting for my dog, they advised that I let them keep her overnight!

The following day, I got a phone call asking how my dog was (mind you they still have my dog!). After work I called to see when I could pick her up, they told me that they didn't have my dog....I asked, "what do you mean, I left her there last night after surgery, remember."
"Oh, we transported her to the Romeo clinic, let me give you that number." No one told me that was happing.

So I call the Romeo clinic and they told me that they would have to check with the Dr. and call me back. At this point I asked to be called promptly because I was already half way there because I work in Rochester Hills, but live in Detroit. Low and behold, I waited another 40 minutes after I got the clinic until I got my dog in my car.

Yes, it continues....I have been trying to schedule her 10 day check up and staple removal with no success. The staff on the phone has been rude. They keep telling me that they will call me back and they don't. When I call, they keep telling me he is booked--when I ask what do I do, how long can she go? They just keep telling me he's booked and they'll have to squeeze me in--they need to talk to the doctor--they will call. Well, they haven't done any of that to date. I have paid my bill in full, I am a surgical patient, I would think they would schedule accordingly. I am thinking of calling them and telling them that I saw staple removal on youtube and that I can take it from here!

I will never recommend this clinic to anyone. If you have to pay another 100-200 dollars for an orthopedic surgery, it would be worth it not to be treated so poorly.
