Abdelmessih John Dds - Fireberg Family Dental

When I was pregnant with twins not only was I waddling around like a penguin but my wisdom teeth were killing me! I spent a whole day calling around the Flint area and only found two dentists that accept medicaid. The other office was full and referred me here. They got me in right away which is awesome and many did not want to touch me because I was pregnant but these guys did. The doctor was so gentle, easy procedure and I got right in and out. Even if I hadn't when you are in enough pain you really don't care how long you have to wait and it is worth it anyway if you have to because these guys are awesome. I felt that they were very up to date with they equipment as well which is a comfort. THANK YOU GUYS!

I made an appointment back in December of 2008,told them that i had a cracked tooth that was infected and i also had an heart infection.They told me i couldn't be seen until February of 2009.They called me a couple days before my appointment to cancel and rescheduled for April.Just a couple days ago they canceled all together and said they are not accepting new patients.
There add states that emergency's can be seen the same day don't let the add fool you, first you have to get past the office staff which are very rude and uncaring.

I like this place and am very thankful they are around. The staff is nice, the dentists are cool. I have horrible teeth and no insurance. They don't bat an eyelash at the fact that my teeth are bad like all the other dentists I've gone to and they charge under 1/4 of the price...
When I did have insurance I had another dentist quote me close to 10 grand for 4 root canals...(phase 1 of HER 4 phase plan) AND she wouldn't give me any pain relievers for the abcess tooth I seen her for that she didn't take care of. And she wouldn't be able to get me in for MONTHS! This office got me in right within a week and I can get 2 of those root canals done for about 85% less. I can actually afford it :) I've personally never waited for more than 30 minutes, and yes the waiting room can be packed, but I'm glad to know so many like me are getting the help they need. The work is sufficient for what I need. Those who don't like this office should try ANY great expressions clinic from Flint to Jackson if they're confused of what true poor quality, over priced dental work really consists of.
I DO recommend this place to those who need it.

I had my first visit with Fireberg Dental yesterday and I have to tell you the staff were all very caring I was in alot of pain and they got me right in. The office was very clean and all of their equipment was new. This is a very warm office and they treated me with not only the upmost respect they really did care about all of my dental issues.
This is the only place my family and I will be going!!!

I just moved to Genesee County a few weeks ago my husband had lost his job and his insurance he woke up with an awful toothache needless to say money was tight so I called around looking for an office that could get him in and also had a payment plan.
Fireberg Dental got my husband right in he had an infection under a crown that he had done years ago. They offered a plan called Care Credit and my husband was able to get the required treatment on his tooth.I wound say this place goes above and beyond to ensure that you receive wonderful care.

My child fell at school and broke his front tooth I found Fireberg Dental in the yellow pages they worked my son into their schedule I took him in they repaired his tooth and got him out of pain. Everyone else I called cound not see me on an emergency basis so this is where I will be bringing my family.

I went to see Dr.Fireberg with a swollen face I had'nt seen a Dr. in about 7 yrs. or so my experience was very good I called the office and was seen sameday Dr. Fireberg who was trained in Michigan and New York City treated my tooth with a root canal and drained my abcess my swelling was gone within 3 days. I will highly recomend this office to my family and friends.

I have never in my life had such a horrible experience as when I sat in this dentists chair. This was in 2006.
I needed a couple fillings. I have a small mouth, and was berated and had to sit through him complaining about not being able to get to my back teeth and a tooth in the lower front, by this dentist. Instead of him adjusting the tilt of my head by removing the pillow behind my head and tilting the chair back, he was getting pi**ed off because I was crying from the pain at the back of my neck, and him applying pressure while having this extreme pain. My teeth were not numb. I tried to tell him my neck was hurting and to remove the pillow, but he would not let me move my hands from my stomach. I guess he'd had patients before that lashed out at him. Maybe that's what I should have done instead of taking the pain from my neck and teeth. The filling compound was some grey porous stuff that is still after 2 years later -quite rough and gritty. Walking out of a dentists office with a pounding headache from having my neck and head turned at an awkward angle for too long while having him moaning and B**tching about my mouth size and trying to move and silently crying about the pain in my neck and mouth. DO NOT take your children here!! If he complains about an adults small mouth, can you imagine how he'd deal with a child's mouth size?

I see someone had an issue with a prior post about this dentist office. Of course someone who has a family member who works there is going to be supportive of this office. Try going there and find out for yourself. My Wait time was over 3 hours too!!
Office was packed and everyone wondered why he'd pack the schedule so tight. Some people were standing. The kids waiting room was in a separate room.
Bring your own Novocaine for your mouth, a book to read during the wait time, and Demerol for your pain afterward.

My mother works here and she is very good it is complete nonsense that someone would even dare to put down doctor Fireberg. this is one of the best dentists on the planet, there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY THAT LADY HAD TO WAIT THREE HOURS.this is a family business and they are very great you should think about going there too.They see almost 70 more patients a day than most dentists so I'm sorry if you have to wait but it is worth it!!!!love you mom

I took two of my sons to fireberg dental, at different times. Both had to have fillings, and both of them sat through drilling that they could feel because the dentist either did not give them enough to numb them, or did not wait long enough before working on them. Neither of them spoke up because they did not know any better. They thought it was supposed to feel that way!!

The waiting room is overcrowded, and we waited for 3 hours past our appointment time before being called.

Is there a point to scheduling appointments if they can't keep the time they set, or at least keep the waiting to a minimum.. Three hours is completely unacceptable. I'm sure if I came to an appointment 3 hours late, they wouldn't see me. We take time off work to go to these appointments. Our time and money is just as important as theirs.

I won't take my family there again.

Actually they do accept Medicaid as well as most other insurances. They also do a great job with my kids. So, my whole family goes there. Dr. Fireberg is U of M educated, which makes me feel even more confident with him. They even have the choice of cosmetic dentistry with ZOOM whitening system - - my Xmas present this year.

If you cannot tell, I am very happy with this group. You may have to wait, however, it is well worth it.

Need a new dentist? Famil dental is welcoming new patients. They have cosmetic dentistry, whitening, denture repairs and can even use relaxing gas and sedation as needed. Medicaid is NOT accepted, but most others are, so that is a downfall. Emergency care is by appointment only- so make sure you call ahead! 10 caring hygienists are on staff.
