To begin with I have had the pleasure of having My GrandChildren enrolled at the Beginners inn for several years. And am pleased with the Staff. as I drop them off and pick them up also. My daughter and Son -in -Law. researched the area and found that Beginners Inn is in line with the cost. the Staff was very friendly. and greet You by Name when visiting or picking up. I cannot believe the other bad reviews that put down this Child care center and the slander about drugs. it has to be from someone that has never been there. I have seen the Day care center Staff fixing up the Play area and doing work around the building. I may be a Grampa and would love to have my two Grand Kids with Me all day but have been forced back to work with this economy being as is. so as far as I'm concerned the bad reviews are a bunch of bunk.

To whom this may concern: I have used Beginners Inn Child Care Center for a couple of years as well as other family members. I have always enjoyed it here and feel like family when greeted by name each time I walk in the door. My children are always safe, secure and love spending time home away from home. When I first was searching for child care I heard great things about Beginners inn from co workers as well as other family members but still felt the need to shop around to make sure they were the perfect fit. I visited many corporate, family owned and religious centers and found that Beginners Inn was not only the most affordable but also had extremely educated staff. I had read mixed reviews online but can only imagine that there must have been an upset ex employee or parent trying to cause a bad name with poor reviews. Unfortunily you cant make everyone happy so after talking with the owner I sat in the class and visited during my childs transition and thought the care givers were awesome. They were very caring and trust worthy and new my child would be safe there. I now have been enrolled there for 2 years and my wife and I can not believe how much my son has learned from them. Dont rely solely on reviews but instead visit for yourself to see how great this Daycare is. Steven

It is obvious that the person who wrote the prior review was not someone who actually visited the facility. My children have attended Beginners Inn for 4 years now and I have had nothing but great experiences. I must mention that the classrooms are never out of ratio; this is the reason I enrolled in this particular facility. My children both attended as infants and I stopped in several times throughout the day in several classrooms and none were ever out of ratio. The playgrounds have great equipment and a recent letter I received talked of the resurfacing of the playground turf this spring. Playgrounds are very important for young children, although, I believe educated teachers in early childhood education are of top priority. When visiting centers prior to enrolling in Beginners Inn I found several centers to say their teachers had CDA??s, this is not an associate??s degree this is an inexpensive quick class anyone could pass. I am an educator myself and am aware of the little education that most of the centers employees have. One of my children will be using the transportation service in the fall; I do not hesitate to have my child transported by any of the drivers. I do know all drivers have a cell phone for emergency purposes to call schools or other Beginners Inn buses according to other families. Please do not take the prior comment seriously or you child will miss out on a caring, educational and safe program.

I recently toured this facility and was not at all happy with what I found. The couple of classrooms I visited were over the state ratio requirement, that is a BIG problem for me. The classrooms seemed to be chaotic and not very structured, probably because there were too many children. It seemed as if the children were just playing with toys and running around. The playgrounds at this facility were awful. There is hardly any grass for the children to play on, most of it was dirt, some small patches of grass here and there. The other larger playground has NO GRASS, just dirt and wood chips although there were hardly any wood chips at that. I also witnessed the bus driver talking on his cell phone while driving the children, that is totally unacceptable. Who in their right mind would transport other peoples children while talking on a cell phone, that has got to be a saftey violation of some sort. Needless to say I will not enroll my children here and would not recomend this place.

I would not leave my child at this daycare if you paid me. Rooms are always over ratio with the full knowledge of the managers, they use outdated milk, and the only way you will get treated with any respect or curtiousy is if you go out of your way to become friends with the girls at the front desk. I guess I just believe that if I'm paying you to take care of my child, I should receive some respect and decency. The girls in the office always seem like they have no idea what is going on and neither of them can make a solid judgment on their own. They allow sick children to stay, which, of course, creates more sick children. I have also witness one of the owners speaking very disrespectful and rude to an employee. My child will NEVER return to this center.

Both of my children (ages 2y 5mo and 4y 7mo) attend Beginner's Inn. My daughter loves her classroom teachers and it is evident that they lover her too! She does some sort of Art Project every day and loves to color and paint. My son, is in the Pre-K classroom 3 days a week. His writing/coloring skills have improved greatly and they do a lot of fun activities that keep the students engaged and actively learning. They have a good balance of kid- directed activities (e.g. centers) and structured teacher- directed activities. My personal opinion, is that the Pre-K class size is a little big- no complaints from my son though. He enjoys his days at school!

This Daycare has a few staff members who genuinely care about the kids and providing good educational activities for them but all the other groups of kids fall in their shadow. So if you are lucky enogh to get into the special class then your golden but eventually your child will get older and have to go to another group where unfortunantly the teachers may not be as good. The playground is big but not well kept. Please see other reviews in other areas. As for the staff members using drugs, I seriously wouldn't put it past some of the teachers being involved wiht that, but not all. Like I said in some cases the daycare was good, but if you weren't overly nice to them, they didn't even speak to you half of the time.

Our two daughters attend Beginner's Inn. The first since she was 13 weeks old, she is now 3.5 and the second started at 14 weeks old and is now 6 months old. In no way would we ever leave our most precious gifts to anyone we did not trust. Our daughters have been well loved and cared for by the staff of Beginner's Inn. Our oldest daughter is performing well ahead of the expectations for her age based on the teaching and learning experiences she has received. The discipline techniques they use are kind and foster self worth and work really well at home too!

Every teacher knows our children's names, even though they don't have them in class. We are always greeted upon pick up and drop off. Any concerns we have ever had were addressed immediately and followed up on. The staff is full of wonderful, caring people who are extremely trustworthy. To insinuate and accuse the staff of using drugs is slanderous to the wonderful people that work there.

A cost analysis will show you that Beginner's Inn is a wonderful value and right in line with the rates in the area. We have only received 2 cost increases in 3.5 years and they were very modest.

We are extremely pleased with Beginner's Inn's level of care and commitment to the health and happiness of our daughters.

I have been sending my son to Beginner's Inn since he was 10 weeks old, he is now 3.5 years old. The staff have been wonderful and attentive to all my child's needs. At any time that I had a issue, the director would speak with me and investigate, then report back to me. I think they very much care about each child and each child's experience. I think they joyfully take responsibility of assisting in raising our youth. My son is very advanced in his education due to their curriculum that is tailored to every age. There are no drugs being used by the staff, as stated by another person's critic. They have been friendly at all times, and understanding to my child's specific needs. I am very happy with The Beginner's Inn and will continue to take my son there, even after he begins kindergarten, for after school care.

My child has been attending the Beginner's Inn since 2005 and I am very satisfied with the level of care she has recieved. Yes, the prices are high...but I firmly believe you get what you pay for. As an educator myself, I am continually impressed with the organization of lesson plans and variety of experiences for the children to learn from. My daughter comes home every week with new skills that she has learned. The managers in the front office are very helpful and address any concerns I have promptly. My daughter and I are greeted by name and I feel so comfortable leaving my daughter in their care. I have and will contine to recommend the Beginner's Inn to all parents in the Plymouth/Canton area.
