Not only is this one of the premier Christian Colleges in the United States--their cultural offerings throughout the year are enough to bring nearly everbody in the area to the college at least once during the year. The exhibit this past year on the lost city of stone---full of archeological digs, etc....was a blast. They had a great middle eastern restaurant set up inside as well. Be sure to check out their basketball games too, if you get a chance.

Calvin College is a great private liberal arts college. It has tons of degree choices and excellent faculty teaching those degrees. One of the best campus newspapers around! I value highly my education from Calvin and I've found many good friends and connections from my time there. Two downfalls which prohibit it getting the full 5 stars include extremely high tuition costs (which go up significantly each year) and a lack of good career help once you graduate. Especially in this economy, I could have really used their assistance to network and help me out, like the assistance my roommate got from her public university.

PROS: Great campus newspaper, excellent courses, top-notch professors
CONS: Very high tuition, very little help with career/job search after graduation
