5 Stars: Adult all the way (by A Z.)

I went to other alternative schools and Mott Adult was by far the best one. They take the word adult seriously. The last school I went to I dropped out because the kids were too immature and all about gang related issues where as Mott Adult was nothing like that, they were very mature and respectful.

4 Stars: A school for young ADULTS (by Elizabeth P.)

Mott adult high school is set up just like a regular school with only one difference: They expect more out of you. Since MAHS is an alternative school, they have to raise the expected behavior bar a little higher. For example there is a no tolerance rule for fighting, drugs, ect. Since this school is often times a persons last chance they want to teach you how it will be in real life and expect you to act like mature adults. If you can do that you will find that the counselors are very helpful in arranging your class schedule to fit your work schedule. Another good thing is that your morning classes only meet twice a week, and last for 12 weeks. Your afternoon classes are Monday through Thursday and last a mere six. A Friday class is optional. There is also an even start class for young parents that offers free child care if you are enrolled. I would recommend this school to a person, but only if they truly want to graduate, and have no room in their life for the drama that is tolerated in normal high schools.
