Twiggies

It's difficult to rate a business's work when they're so poor with communication that they don't even allow you the opportunity to work with them. But that's exactly the situation I was in. After a meeting regarding plans for my wedding, I walked away 100% excited about Beth's vision and confident in her work. Over a month later, I hadn't received a quote but didn't think anything of it because she had said it would be a while due to holiday business. Eventually I emailed her, as it had been well past the three weeks she had estimated. She finally emailed me a quote, and it was completely incorrect--listing items that we did not want and not including things that we did want. I contacted Beth and she asked me to revise it and email it back to her. I promptly did just that...and then didn't hear from her. Several emails over several weeks time later, I was so irritated by her failure to respond that I finally called her. She was incredibly short, rude, and did not own her failure to communicate at all. Quickly, she tried to pass the blame and tell me that I needed to send her the revised quote and I said that I had done that weeks and weeks ago, and gave her the date that I sent it initially and then resent it. I told her I wanted to put down a deposit and be done with it (since it had probably been three months since the initial meeting) and she said she'd get me a revised quote. Never happened. I finally found someone else who wanted our business and left that initial meeting with a typed quote, deposit down, and 100% confidence in them. I wish I wouldn't have wasted all that time and energy trying to get someone to value me and my business. I'd save yourself some time and stay away from Twiggie's for your wedding.

Twiggies did our daughters wedding in August 2006, and they did an incredible job, from start to finish. We had so man comments on how beautiful the room looked and they did it all. Very creative and listened well t what my daughter wanted and imagined and they did it perfectly at a very reasonable price.

When shopping at this truly unique store, there are so many items to choose from, it's hard to decide. I can't walk out without buying something. The clothing is beyond anything you can get at the mall and you won't see yourself coming or going on the street. For the quality the prices are fantastic. The buyers obviously know what they are doing. Anything from home items, boutique apparel, gifts, or flowers, they have it.After attending a wedding that they did recently, I was in the need for flowers to be sent to a funeral. I saw the amazing job they did on this wedding, but never dreamed that a funeral arrangement could be so breath taking. Literally, the family was fighting over who was taking it home. Check it out... there's nothing this team of 2 women can't do!! The owners are young and have really got a handle on how to run a business with things that people really want.Definitely stop in at least 2 times a month, you won't have to go anywhere else. Who knew DeWitt had a hidden secret?

I have been into Twiggies and couple of times and have been impressed with their items. They have a good selection and it is good quality. The prices are a little high.
